The You Season 4 Part 1 trailer is out and the show looks as exciting as ever with the colour palette grim and dark and, the new cast giving off a rich, mysterious vibe. The psychological thriller series will see co-creator Sera Gamble return as showrunner. Along with some old and new faces.
The iconic Penn Badgley is set to reprise his role as Joe Goldberg. We will also see Tati Gabrielle’s Marianne Bellamy return, who we saw managed to escape alive from the previous season. The new cast members include Lukas Gage as Adam, Charlotte Ritchie as Kate, Tilly Keeper as Lady Phoebe, Amy-Leigh Hickman as Nadia and Ed Speleers as Rhys. The fourth season has been divided into two parts with the first coming out soon.
The trailer description for You Season 4 Part 1 reads: “New year, new country, new persona – and yet Joe can’t seem to shake off his past. Starting anew in London, Joe vows to bury the past and be his best self. But on the rocky road to redemption, a new obsession starts to take hold.”

The trailer opens with someone calling Joe Professor Johnathan Moore along with the question ‘why are you here?’. The answers come the surroundings of the party Joe is in where people throw their guesses at if he has killed someone or did someone break his heart, making Joe reel back to Marianne, who is very much present in the trailer hinting at the fact that Joe might not have stopped stalking her.
However, the trailer takes a drastic turn when Joe inevitably gets attracted to his neighbour. But, as he gets drawn to this new English woman he finds himself being stalked by an unknown person, who leaves him text messages. With the new elite crowd, Joe is hanging out with and both his new and old love interests in the picture looks like the upcoming season is going to throw us a hardball of mystery that will keep us guessing until the end.
