The upcoming Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches is created by Esta Spalding and Michelle Ashford. As the name already suggests, it is based on the novel trilogy Lives of the Mayfair Witches by Anne Rice. The recurring cast members are Annabeth Gish as Deirdre Mayfair, Beth Grant as Carlotta Mayfair, Erica Gimpel as Ellie Mayfair and Jen Richards as Jojo.

Mayfair Witches Plot/Synopsis

The trailer description for the series reads: “Mayfair Witches is an exploration of female power and the mortal implications of our decisions. Mayfair Witches focuses on an intuitive young neurosurgeon (Daddario) who discovers that she is the unlikely heir to a family of witches. As she grapples with her newfound powers, she must contend with a sinister presence that has haunted her family for generations.”

The plot of the story revolves around Daddario’s Dr. Rowan Fielding, who discovers her Mayfair heritage as the uncontrollable inheritance of power takes over her. Coming from a family of Witches, the trailer shows a sinister presence that haunts her and her family.

Mayfair Witches Release Date, Trailer and More

The series is scheduled to arrive on AMC+ on January 8, 2023. The first episode of the show is titled “The Witching Hour” and is written by Michelle Ashford & Esta Spalding. As of now, it is revealed that the show will consist of eight episodes, each getting a weekly release. Will Bates serves as the composer of the series. It is produced by Pail Eyes Pictures, Round Two Productions, Gran Via Productions and AMC Studios and, distributed by AMC Networks.
