Who is Erin Carter Trailer: ‘Snabba Cash’ Star Evin Ahmad is Not Who She Claims to Be in Her New Series

Last seen in Snabba Cash, Evin Ahmad proves yet again that she can handle a stab wound, and balance her badass life kept secret while being a History teacher in the Who is Erin Carter trailer. Netflix is brewing yet another original series with her as the leading face of the action thriller title, which in itself is the best audience pulling tactic there is!

Releasing the trailer of the limited series on August 3, 2023, the OTT platform has saved the date on our calendars for the actor’s next flammable outing for a TV show. The video opens with the image of her being held at gunpoint, only to defeat her enemy, leap off the building and dive into the sea, all within a matter of seconds. Her indomitable spirit is then starkly contrasted with a rather composed and simple setting that announces her position as a mere History teacher at a school. Allowing her to play the best versions of her character in two separate worlds, the show’s creator Jack Lothian builds up a suspenseful momentum, as gathered from the first look.

Who is Erin Carter Trailer Netflix Series

The picturesque settings of Barcelona find themselves to be at the focus of show’s story, as Ahmad’s titular character too voices her admiration of the place. However, all that glitters is not always gold, and the Carter next finds herself and her daughter in a fix during one of her usual visits to the grocery mart. Catching some masked robbers taking in the owner of the supermarket, Erin opts to take control of the situation and severely injures the malicious criminals at work.

Well hidden secrets of her past life rise to the surface as several parties start taking interest in her, piqued by her ability to handle herself. Although she continues to push for the idea that they’ve all mistaken her for someone else, she can’t keep things buried anymore. Her family and normal life spiral out of control as they start questioning her intentions as well. And regardless of how many times she compels others to believe that she’s just a schoolteacher, we all know that past has a way of catching up to us, and hers just did.

At this point, it’s not just shady parties who are interested in knowing who Erin Carter really is, but also her family. She’s a mother, wife, teacher…. and something more. We’ll just have to wait to find out the answer for ourselves.
