Walking on Thin Ice Episode 4 Recap

The episode opens with Eun-soo at the police station, waiting to talk to the police about the drugs, while Kyung constantly calls her to try and dissuade her from ruining both of their lives. He agrees to comply with whatever she wants, and she finally decides to listen to him. The two eventually get into a fight, but with not many options left, Kyung and Eun-soo have no other option but to work together. She agrees to be in this mess until she makes 200 million won and then hand over the rest of the stash.

The two eventually hash out the details and start sending the stuff out, while Kyu-man continues his quest to capture Kyung in one way or another. Things go great for the most part, but Eun-soo soon gets into a sticky situation after she is hunted by one of the buyers and goes off-script to accept cash. She is caught while Kyung’s plans to buy the company’s stocks are halted for a bit. Eun-soo eventually chases the thieves down and runs off with her bag, and Kyung saves her in the end.

Meanwhile, the police go through call records and other evidence, and Kyeong-do eventually realises that the person they are looking for might be Eun-soo, after remembering her phone number and address on a resume. Tae-gu and Kyeong-do visit her, just as Su-ah starts to get suspicious about their shocking spending habits.

This episode feels like a tense reminder of what’s to come in the upcoming episodes of Walking on Thin Ice as Eun-soo gets more desperate with each passing day. Lee Young-ae and Kim Young-kwang are both fantastic and will leave you on edge as they get deeper into the mess that is the drug business. I also found it interesting that the police are actually doing some investigation and aren’t waiting around for the bad guys to get caught on their own. The recap for the next episode is also quite shocking and tense, and I am thoroughly looking forward to it!

Netflix’s Teach You a Lesson transforms the controversial webtoon Get Schooled into a fast-paced action drama. While Kim Moo-yul leads an engaging cast and the series offers satisfying confrontations, its handling of complex issues like bullying and education often feels simplistic, making for an entertaining yet uneven watch.
