Tsuyokute New Saga: Light Novel Series Gets the Much-Awaited Anime Adaptation

The popular light novel series Tsuyokute New Saga is finally getting a TV adaptation, and we cannot keep our calm. In the sea of light novels, only a few get chosen to be adapted for the big screen.

So, this is pretty great news for the fans waiting for this to happen for a long time. The series will be directed by Norikazu Ishigooka, who also worked on popular series like JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure and Midnight Occult Civil Servants.

Some of the best voice actors are joining the franchise, including Yūma Uchida, Hiro Shimono, Fairouz Ai, Asami Seto, Minami Takahashi etc. Nilitsu, from Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? will be drafting the original animation character designs, and Kenta Ihara, who worked in Saga of Tanya the Evil, will be in charge of the series scripts.

Tsuyokute New Saga is a harem adventure comedy that also has its own manga. It tells the story of Kyle, the hero, who has only one goal in mind, and that is to destroy the evil Demon King.

The Demon King is also adamant about wiping out the entire human race with his demon underlings. A fight ensues between the hero and the demon King when Kyle attacks the King’s castle with his allies and troops. He is also successful in slaying the Demon King, but sadly he could not save his comrades.

Now that all his friends are dead, he also lies dying in the Demon King’s chamber. That is when a mysterious gem catches his attention and thus starts a new adventurous journey for him.

Right off the bat, we notice the crisp animation from the promotional video, which also has a couple of great action moments. The video showcases how the hero gets the mysterious gem and gets awakened again.
