Tomorrow and I Review

Tomorrow and I is a Thai drama anthology that will give you a glimpse of a distinct future surrounded by advanced technology and its clash with Thai culture and moral values, where the stories take place. The series brings an intriguing look to the same while showing you hope for misfits, people’s inability to adapt, the effects of technology on religion, and finally, the effects of the damage caused by everyone today.

First and foremost, we have to talk about the wonderful plot that is shown in every episode. Each comes with a different look at what the future can be like, and they all captivate you one after another. This show is something you will find yourself binge-watching despite the lengthy episodes. The storyline of each story is intriguing and you will never know how the stories of the individuals in these stories will turn out. Their endings are very different and this question of how things will turn out is what I found especially refreshing.

I have personally loved every story brought out in this show; how wonderfully and realistically they have been put together is something you would never expect. Adding to this wonderful plot is the beautiful cinematography that suits every story so well that I cannot stop marvelling at it. Be it the setting, the colours or the flawless camera work, everything will leave you speechless for a moment.

The settings are all so wonderful that it makes you think that this is exactly what the future really looks like. It is so simple that it is relatable, yet it brings a breath of freshness that takes you to another timeline. Human hearts are almost no different from what they are now, yet they are all so different that you find yourself really looking into the future.

Meanwhile, the performance of every actor in these four episodes is something I seriously cannot get over. They all so beautifully portray their emotions that I am left stunned. Every character is so wonderfully performed, making us see things from another perspective; which is why you find yourself questioning your thinking.

The actors have really performed in ways that come to you as a surprise, making you look at the whole Thai industry as a whole in a different light. This series has really shown a new side of the Thai entertainment industry and you really need to open up your mind when watching this show.
