But what So Mun does not know is that Pil-gwang’s interest in Jo-seok has brought him all the way to the latter’s home, where he goes through the memories of his mother. Meanwhile, the Counters at the base are discussing the happenings at the trial and are yet to come out of their surprise and distress when Jeok-bong returns with splendour which only makes them angry at his ignorance.

The next day, Jo-seok is provoked by other prisoners when he is told that someone has come to meet him. It is none other than Pil-gwang who has arrived to provoke him so that he lets out the suppressed evil spirit residing inside him. On the other hand, Ha-na’s old schoolmate, Park Do-hwi who had a crush on her, finds out that she is nearby and rushes to meet her.

Worried that he will miss his chance once again like all those years back, he tries his best to approach her but almost fails. It is when Ha-na accidentally peeks into his memories that she finds out that he has always been waiting for her while she was in a coma.

Later, the Counters come together to plan how to tackle the situation with Jo-seok as well as the evil spirits. They decide to work on getting rid of them as soon as possible so that they can finally bring Jo-seok to peace. Right then, Jang-mul arrives with new items to help the Counters in their mission.

The members pick up the guns while Jeok-bong marvels at the vests, but when the members surround him he gets tensed only to later receive a surprise welcome from the team. The team then go out for a ride when Jeok-bong smells Gelly and leads them to a faraway building.

Gelly has come to this place to get back the money that they had laundered but finds out that someone else has taken the money using Pil-gwang’s name. This infuriates her and she decides to get her money by hook or crook. Meanwhile, the Counters arrive and notice the shady people in the place, thus, getting ready to have a good fight.

Soon, the fight slows down and Jeok-bong leads So Mun towards Gelly who fails to get the information she wants and now has to rush. However, she finds out about Jeok-bong’s powers during the chase while So Mun finds out that Gelly and Pil-gwang were the ones behind the money laundering case.

The team soon wraps up while Gelly rushes to Pil-gwang with fear of Jeok-bong’s powers. However, Pil-gwang reminds her that there is something stopping them from being found out which brings back her rationality. The next day, Jo-seok continues to struggle against the spirit while Mo-tak reopens the laundering case.

Elsewhere, Ha-na goes out to meet Do-hwi who had asked her out for a meal the last time. However, her late arrival leaves them waiting outside the restaurant he had made a reservation for. However, while waiting, Ha-na notices Ung-min going past them before stopping to take a look back.

This shocks everyone, especially Jeok-bong who had developed a crush on Ha-na. Meanwhile, Ha-na’s chase soon comes to a pause when the two end up at an arcade and Ha-na gets hooked to the claw game.

While she fails miserably, she is able to get her hands on some toys with Do-hwi’s help which brings out genuine joy on her face. Elsewhere, Mo-tak has got his hands on a lead and takes So Mun to help him break into a laundromat which he is suspicious about.

His suspicion comes true when they find the whole set-up behind the money laundering right in front of them. Unfortunately, the files all get deleted upon their arrival and they notice a man rushing out of the store. They chase him but fail to catch him in the end, however, So Mun remembers the tattoo on his neck which might become their only clue.

Elsewhere, Gelly and Pil-gwang break into the prison and the latter once again confronts Jo-seok and tries to get the evil spirit out. This time, he succeeds as Jo-seok once again looks at his own weaknesses and finally accepts the evil being. The next day, So Mun arrives at the prison to deliver some necessities to Jo-seok when the latter decides to finally break out.

So Mun comes out the door of the prison when the alarms go off and Jo-seok flies out the prison and comes face to face with the former, whom he might now have to kill.

Episode 5 brought in more intriguing aspects to the story as it turns the good man into bad and brings new light to the idea behind this new season. Turning good into evil and seeing who wins, is something that is sure to leave us hooked and this show is doing it in the right way.

The episode has done justice to the show and now knowing that we are almost halfway through the season, we can say that this one was definitely worth the wait. On the other hand, this episode has now brought my suspicion about Mo-tak’s partner and junior and leaves me wondering if he really made a mistake or was an accomplice of the laundering gang.
