The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 Episode 8 Ending Explained

At the beginning of The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 Episode 8 it is clear that Belly is going to give Jeremiah a chance. This fact does not really change by the end. After going through a lot of confusing turmoil, Belly ends up choosing Jeremiah over Conrad. Of course, Conrad had some role to play in this as he confessed his true feelings to Belly at one time and went back on his word the next morning.

The season ends with Belly trying to get back her place on her volleyball team. She tries her best to convince the coach who finally allows her to play and she does a good job at it. She is seen playing with her team while Jeremiah cheers for her from the bleachers.

She says this is not the future she had imagined and what her future will become is still unclear to her. However, it will always be hers and that is all that matters in the end.
