Amazon Prime Video is releasing yet another season of their well-performing show, and the recently released trailer shows us just how much growth will be happening in the final instalment of this series. The Marvelous Mrs Maisel Season 5 trailer breakdown explores the protagonist’s deep desire to make a name for herself in the comedy world. This show stars Rachel Brosnahan, Alex Borstein, Michael Zegen, Tony Shalhoub, Marin Hinkle, Matilda Szydagis and Kevin Pollak alongside other cast members.
The show is created by Amy Sherman-Palladino and is based in 1950s New York where the housewife and mother Midge Maisel has just been left behind by her husband and doesn’t know what to do. However, she figures out that she has a penchant for stand-up comedy and shifts her focus there in order to make a living.

That was just the beginning, things have changed for Mrs Maisel. Even in a male-dominated field, Mrs Maisel has made quite a name for herself. But now, it feels like her talents haven’t been getting the same traction other people have been getting for their extremely similar, and quite frankly, mediocre talents. When Midge sees a billboard on the street for Gordon Ford’s show, she is driven to make it big in her life now. There may be many things that she hasn’t been able to achieve but she will be doing them now.
With her successes, she wants to make sure that every rule that exists for women has been broken and she wants to be the one to do it. We see her twirling on the streets of New York to get where she wants. While the next shot shows her best friend Susie making her way determinedly towards something important. Now that her business has been booming, she has been too busy revolving her life around Midge.
In the next sequence, we see Midge standing in front of a big crowd, in what looks like a pretty prestigious event, one that could make or break her career. So far, it has been going well for her, because they are all laughing at the jokes and she too has been having fun speaking in front of a big audience like this one. Fans of hers have been flocking to let her know just exactly how she has been influential in their lives, with some even letting her know that she has been saying everything that they think.

To fulfil her dreams of making it big, there are many people blocking her path and many others who have been going through some terrible things, like a house fire. Meanwhile, Midge is trying her best to keep people holding her back at bay. We see a series of confusing shots together, really seeming to increase curiosity for the new and final season. Midge has been celebrating something and so far we don’t know what that is about, even though she seems to be around a couple of friends when this has been happening.
We really see Midge getting annoyed and stressed now that things in her life are not growing the way they’re supposed to. When she takes two steps forward, it’s becoming like she has to take three steps backwards. Since this is the final season, there has to be a pinnacle for Midge. Now that we have been following her for four seasons, it makes sense that her talents are embraced in the same way other people are. This is her big break and Susie is letting her know that she can take it.
Midge will not be backing down from this challenge, she is seen standing in multiple locations making her talents known to people across the spectrum, whether it is the older audience or women of her age. She has even managed to get some kind of television appearance and things are really looking up for her. Mrs Maisel is about to become a household name and people don’t even know it.
