What is The Last Hours of Mario Biondo All About? Here’s a Scoop on the Upcoming Crime Docuseries

One has to hand it to Netflix for its range of docuseries, to which the upcoming The Last Hours of Mario Biondo will be the latest addition. In the teaser and the trailer that dropped, we are barely able to grasp anything other than the possibility that there is malice involved in the death that has been addressed. Well, conspiracy can be confusing. Read on to know more.

Directed by Maria Pulido, the show will deal with the mysterious death of Mario Biondo, television cameraman and husband of famous Spanish presenter Raquel Sanchez Silvaan. He was found dead at his home in Madrid, Spain, on May 30, 2013. The show will run for more than one season at least. The fact that there will be another season proves that the show will explore the case in detail and look at it from multiple angles. Unfortunately, the trailer doesn’t tell us much about the show so all we can do is conjecture.

The Last Hours of Mario Biondo Cast

Since it is a docu-series, we will have interviews with professionals, investigators, officers as well as friends and families of the couple in question.

The Last Hours of Mario Biondo Plot/Synopsis

No one knows for sure what transpired so there is no conclusive evidence as to the reason for his death. For some, it is suicide while for others, it is murder. While looking into the case itself, the show will also be exploring the relationship of the couple and what led to their marriage as well as if there were any hard feelings and issues between Biondo and Silvaan.

Using archival footage, interviews and even staged events as they may have occurred in Mario Biondo’s last hours before he died, the series aims to provide us with an in-depth analysis of the still-ongoing case. Biondo’s mother believes that he was killed because he came across secrets that someone powerful didn’t want to have spilled. Well, this is another angle that the series should definitely cover. We have no idea the kind of chaos that fame brings with it and which may have been responsible for the death of Mario Biondo. It will be nice to hear from Raquel Sanchez Silvaan herself (if the makers managed to contact her).
