The Golden Spoon Episode 3 Recap

The Golden Spoon episode 3 showed Seung-cheon finding out that Hwang Hyun-do’s will states that his property is not to be passed down to his heir. Shocked by this, Seung-cheon prepares to prove his worth and get Hyun-do to reverse his will

Soon Seung-cheon and Tae-yong celebrate their birthdays in their new lives. As Seung-cheon impresses Hyun-do with his surprise and attitude, Tae-yong shows his gratefulness towards his mother.

On the other hand, Na Ju-hee is on the way to Seung-cheon’s house when she meets the mysterious granny who gives her a letter for “Tae-yong” (Seung-cheon). Later she makes her way to the party with Tae-yong who shocks everyone with his piano skills and then starts wandering around.

However, getting the letter from Ju-hee scares Seung-cheon who has received a warning about another rule according to which if the two boys were to meet their parents on their birthdays then they will go back to being themselves. Seung-cheon runs around looking for Tae-yong as the latter narrowly escapes meeting his real father.

The next day, Seung-cheon starts bad-mouthing the real him in front of Ju-hee who then confesses that she likes “Seung-cheon” which leaves him speechless. Later, he remembers the landlord who is continuously causing problems for his real family, so he teaches the man a lesson and makes sure that he doesn’t go around creating problems anymore.

Later, he goes to check on Ju-hee who is working at the convenience store but notices a strange man staring at her. The man later follows Ju-hee and Seung-cheon saves her at the right time after which she tells him that the man was her friend’s father who has passed away five years back.

Back at home, Seung-cheon is looking for other ways to impress Hyun-do who hears him and asks if he knew about the will. Seung-cheon agrees to it and Hyun-do tells him to prove himself if he wants to reverse the will.

The next day at school, Seung-cheon receives a message that doubts his identity as Hwang Tae-yong.
