The First Responders (소방서 옆 경찰서) is a new thriller K-drama series directed by Shin Kyung Soo and written by Min Ji Eun. The series stars Kim Rae-won as Jin Ho-gae, Son Ho-jun as Bong Do-jin and Gong Seung-yeon as Song Seol. The rest of the cast includes Jung Jin-woo, Lee Jung-hu, Ji Woo, Jung Sang-hoon, Kang Gi-doong, Son Ji-yoon, Woo Mi-hwa, Seo Hyun-chul, Lee Hwa-jung and more.
The new emergency rescue drama centres around a hot-headed, stubborn police officer who follows unconventional ways to solve various impossible cases. Along with two firefighters, Bong Do-jin and Song Seol, the trio assists and cooperates to save innocent victims and bring them justice.
The first season premiered on SBS TV on November 12, 2022, and airs every Friday and Saturday at 10 pm KST

The First Responders Episode 10 Predictions
In the preview of episode 10 is shown that Ho-gae reveals the biological father of the teenager. Upon closer look, the relationships among the family are rooted in distrust for each other. A possible incestuous relationship is also insinuated. Meanwhile, the body of the victim of Tae-hwa is being transferred elsewhere, which puts the detective in yet another complicated situation.
The First Responders Episode 9 Recap
Yet again, the fire department is seen rushing towards an emergency where a young girl is sitting at the edge of a balcony contemplating suicide. Song Seol goes inside the apartment to convince her to rethink her choice, but the conversation is interrupted when Do-jin pushes her forward from outside the balcony, which saves her life. Meanwhile, the police find a luxury bag outside the building containing an infant’s dead body.
Upon investigation, the police discovered that the infant’s mother was the suicide victim they had saved earlier. They questioned her to reveal who the father was, and she gave the names of five boys from her class who she was involved with. They take the DNAs from the five boys, and later from the reports, it turns out that none of them was responsible for it.
But Jindo dog is not convinced, so he looks deeper into the case. He starts to collect DNAs from every possible suspect without a warrant. He successfully takes hold of the evidence and sends them for testing. Along with the results, he arrives at the victim’s house, where he urges her to tell the truth. She ultimately reveals that she lied about the five boys because she wanted to ruin their names.
