Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938 Episode 12 Reactions: Time Flies Swiftly As Everyone Grapples With the Show Ending

As the beloved K-drama of 2023 nears its conclusion, viewers are tweeting their ecstatic Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938 Episode 12 reactions. Starring Lee Dong-wook as Lee Yeon, Kim Bum as Lee Rang, Kim So-yeon as Ryu Hong-joo, Ryu Kyung-soo as Cheon Moo-young, and others, on May 6, 2023, the Korean fantasy drama series resumed its much-awaited journey.

Season 2, which serves as a prequel to the former season in a way, has been directed by Kang Shin-hyo and Jo Nam-hyung, written by Han Woo-ri and created by Studio Dragon. Episode 12, titled ‘Chapter 12: Joseon’s Last Mountain God’, premiered on June 11, 2023, and it again has the viewers fearing the upcoming finale and concerned for their favourite characters, who may or may not win their respective happy endings.

The end of this brilliant Korean drama is one people didn’t see coming. People have been incredibly excited to see the final episode and revel in the fact that it will mean that there’s another instalment coming soon. However, some were more shocked that there won’t be sixteen episodes in this season as they had thought. But with the third season also being greenlit, it is entirely possible that the decision came to place so that there was more room to explore next season.

Moreover, the ending of this season was incredibly satisfying. Even though Lee Yeon is back in 2023, it doesn’t mean his adventures are over. He will be going to the Joseon era next. For now, though, the reunion with Ji-ah is enough to make audiences swoon over their relationship. While Yeon made many friends in this era, he will have to let them go in order to go back to his time. All of his friends back in 1938 are starting to reimagine their life without him now.

Some fans feel exactly the same way as the characters do. They refuse to believe that the adventure has come to an end. Some characters mean a lot to the fans, especially Lee Rang, who has become a fan favourite through the course of this season. People cannot wait for more, whether it be the action, the romance, the vibes, or the general fantasy element. They want it to arrive as soon as possible, giving them the closure the show needs.
