The trailer of the series starts with a flashy montage of Bhuvan Bam’s character Vasant Gawde, displaying all sorts of charismatic appeal in a dream-like scenario. Shortly afterwards, when the protagonist wakes up to reality, we get to know that he is an everyday man, with a job that he hates, and a family that he needs to help.

The one-minute fifty-second clips also give us a brief idea about the struggled filled life of Vasant. And his ambition to break the chain of poverty and hardships, and come out as a big and influential personality. Which, seems to be way out of his reach and imagination.

In the process, he is assisted by his possible love interest, played by Shriya Pilgaonkar (Guilty Minds, The Broken News). Who also appears to have her fair share of troubles in the series. Moreover, the entire trajectory of the trailer changes drastically, when Vasant strikes a miracle, in the form of notifications, that update him about the details of future events.

What happens next, feels like a fun dose of guaranteed laughter, layered with ingredients of an 80s commercial blockbuster. Notably, the series will feature the Youtube sensation Bhuvan Bam transitioning into mainstream series and roles, after a successful stint with his own productions. It will also be the first time, that he’ll be featured in an original show for Hotstar. Furthermore, the Taaza Khabar is written by the duo of Hussain Dalal & Abbas Dalal, while Nishant Taliyan serves as the editor of the project.
