Strong Girl Nam-soon Episode 10 Recap and Review: The famous hit South Korean drama Strong Woman Do Bong-soon (힘쎈여자 도봉순) spin-off series Strong Girl Nam-soon (힘쎈여자 강남순) of the is directed by Kim Jung-Sik and written by Baek Mi-Kyeong. Starring Lee Yoo-mi, Kim Jung-eun, Kim Hae-sook, Ong Seong-wu and Byeon Woo-seok in the lead roles, the series will follow a young girl named Nam-soon and her immense strength being used for the good. The series is produced by JTBC and is distributed by Netflix.
The series takes up the story of Bong-soon’s sixth cousin, Kang Nam-soon (Lee Yoo-mi) who has similar strength to her cousin. After getting lost in Magnolia, Nam-soon returns to South Korea to find her family. She successfully finds her mother (Kim Jung-eun) and grandmother (Kim Hae-sook) but little does she know, the trio are in for a big treat.
Lee Yoo-mi made it big after her pivotal role in Squid Game (2021). She was last seen in All of Us Are Dead (2022). Kim Jung-eun’s last ventures are Missing: The Other Side (2020-2023) and DNA Mate (since 2022). Kim Hae-sook’s latest work was Revenant (2023). Speaking of Ong Seong-wu, he was last seen in the movie Starlight Falls (2023) while Byeon Woo-seok’s latest project was Soulmate (2023).

Strong Girl Nam-soon Episode 10 Recap
Nam-soon acts along and pretends like she isn’t bothered about Geum-ju’s possible death. Shi-o learns that Geum-ju isn’t dead but is completely injured. However, the truth is sooner revealed to the viewers that Geum-ju has arranged a stand-in and she’s completely safe. She predicted Shi-o would cause her harm and planned to fake the accident perfectly.
Later, Nam-soon learns about the international export boxes numbered CTA4885 that Shi-o only handles. She informs about it to Hee-sik as she feels that the box contains the drugs. Nam-soon also figures that Shi-o has extreme strength after recalling the night she was pushed by him. Song Bread’s assistant informs him about Geum-ju’s condition and asks him to visit her at the hospital for the police might suspect him since he banished her from his office.
Shi-o takes Nam-soon aka Tsegtseg out for dinner at a Mongolian restaurant and this act irritates Hee-sik. At the restaurant, Nam-soon learns that Shi-o is an orphan. Meanwhile, at the beach, Dong-suk walks towards the water and the people around him try to save him. Initially, he uses his extreme strength to push the men but eventually gives up and lets them carry him away. He casually walks away looking completely lifeless.
Shi-o then tells Nam-soon that he’ll drop her at her house. Hee-sik texts her to go to his place and she tells Shi-o the address. At Hee-sik’s place, Nam-soon takes a nap. On his way back home, Shi-o reminisces about his past where the tiny Shi-o is forced to shoot a man by the Russian mafia. Hee-sik comes to his apartment and looks at Nam-soon. She mistakes his gaze for a kiss and gives him a peck, making the situation awkward.

Nam-soon tells Hee-sik that Shi-o consumes the drug and also drinks some sort of water. This makes Hee-sik understand that the antidote which Marie-kim mentioned is the main business of Doogo. Apparently, they’re trying to bring in drug addicts and sell their antidote to make a profit. That same night when Hee-sik munches some Ramen, Nam-soon asks for a bite. He however gives her a smooch and the couple blush.
Nam-in’s condition upsets Bong-go and he tries to find out about the weight-loss pill. Hwa-ja is brought in by Geum-ju’s assistant and is provided with all services. Hwa-ja reveals about Shi-o and her conversation regarding his suspicion and alerts Geum-ju. Song Bread visits Geum-ju at her hospital and immediately realises that the person lying on the bed is a stand-in for Geum-ju.
Bong-go visits Hee-sik at the station, tells him about Nam-in’s condition, and gives him the pill. Hee-sik sends the pill for analysis. Meanwhile, Nam-soon sneaks inside the truck carrying CTA4885. Hee-sik and his peer bring out a plan and somehow distract the truck driver. Nam-soon finds a jacket and gives it to Hee-sik’s peer. At the station, they rip the jacket and find feather-like material. When they dissolve it in water, they realise it is a drug.
Hee-sik also learns that the weight loss pill is narcotics and informs about it to Geum-ju shocking her. At the same time, Nam-soon goes to Shi-o’s cabin on command. Through the hidden camera, Hee-sik witnesses Shi-o asking Nam-soon to date him.
Strong Girl Nam-soon Episode 10 Review
Hee-sik and Nam-soon’s chemistry is off the charts and I love it. Though it was evident they were head over heels from the very first episode, the way they genuinely take things slowly makes their relationship feel natural. Their vibe together is a hundred percent worth the watch. Though Shi-o and Nam-soon also have a similar chemistry, we know for sure he is a terrible villain with a violent past so he’s definitely not a better choice than Hee-sik.
The drug business’ main reason is finally understood and now the next step would be to stop the business and save the people. Nam-in’s situation will now give the family members the fire to work quickly so that more victims can be saved. Song Bread’s identity still stands a big mystery and there are chances of him being the main villain.
