All About the Upcoming Hospital Playlist Spin-off Kdrama Resident Playbook

Resident Playbook Plot

Hospital Playlist may have brought us the stories of friendship between university professors and doctors and their lives, but this time, we have something new. It is time to look into the lives and friendships between residents working in these university hospitals, and what better place to witness this than Yulje Medical Center?

Set in the Jongno branch of Yulje Medical Center, the show follows the chaotic lives and turbulent friendships of young obstetrics and gynaecology residents. While the country falls into the era of low birth rates, these residents proudly join this unpopular department and face the struggles that come along with their choice.

The trailer gives us a glimpse of the upcoming show, bringing us a mess that these residents face during this period. From apologising everywhere, every time, to finding themselves questioning their choices, these struggles are never-ending but not something that will make them leave. And emerging from this mess are bonds that can never be forgotten- from those of friendship to student-mentor relationships. This is the tough but fulfilling life of residents in their first year.

Look forward to the residents being filled with youthful energy as they set out to prove their worth and become capable doctors. While the hardships are many, will they be able to pass through this period together? The question remains until the show releases soon.
