Ranma ½ 2024 Episode 10 Review

Initially, Ryoga intended to join the fight but was hilariously thwarted by Ranma, who turned him into a pig before he could interfere. Meanwhile, Mikado indulged in his usual narcissistic antics, admiring himself in a mirror and exhibiting his creepy behavior. During a heated confrontation, Mikado boldly declares his intention to steal a kiss from Akane, igniting Ranma’s fury.

Determined to prevent Mikado from getting anywhere near Akane, Ranma vows to defeat him. The match kicks off, with Mikado and Azusa showcasing their incredible skating skills, gliding effortlessly across the rink. In contrast, Ranma and Akane struggle to keep up with their unconventional teamwork. However, Ranma’s raw strength becomes evident as he lands powerful blows on Mikado, fueled by his anger over Mikado’s intentions.

The battle grows increasingly intense, and despite similarities to previous challenges, the ice skating match offers its own unique flair. Ranma’s actions subtly hint at his deep feelings for Akane, even if he’s too prideful to admit them. Throughout the fight, Mikado repeatedly attempts to steal a kiss from Akane, only to have his efforts foiled by Ranma every time.

When Mikado and Azusa execute their signature “couple-crushing” move, Ranma’s unwavering protectiveness shines through. Refusing to let go of Akane’s hands, he endures a significant blow to shield her. The chaos escalates further when Ryoga unexpectedly rejoins the fray, adding a layer of comedy to the action-packed episode.

Ranma ½ 2024 Episode 10 Review

Today’s episode starts with the fight that we saw in the previous episode between Ryoga and Ranma and Mikado and Azusa. This time, Ranma and Ryoga face extreme challenges to fight against these two as they are master of their craft, which is ice skating. Sadly, both Ryoga and Ranma are amateurs in this field, and you can see it from the way they mismatch with each other.

Rather than fighting with their opponents, these two are constantly bickering with each other and fighting amongst themselves, proving Akane would have been a better partner. On top of that, Mikado constantly tries to kiss Ranma and profess his love. He is living in a delusion that girls are dying to get his affection, and even when he gives attention to every woman, apparently, he still has the power to love all equally.

There comes a time when both Ryoga and Ranma finally manage to stand their ground, but they soon clash when the question of Akane comes up. Who is better suited to be with Akane, Ranma or Ryoga? Even though Ranma does not outright profess his interest in Akane, it is clear that he hates Ryoga for being interested in his fiance. However, one incident finally closes that fight, but not without any consequences.

The second half became a bit more dramatic as we witnessed the addition of another girl to Ranma’s harem. He is getting guys and girls left and right, and it is very apparent that this time, Akane’s rival is indeed strong. Not only that, but we also see an extremely lengthy kiss happening between these two, pushing our heroine, Akane, over the edge.

Verdict

Ranma ½ 2024 Episode 10 Review

Our couple really cannot have a single moment of peace as people keep coming for them all the time. We are not getting much action between the main couple, Ranma and Akane, but, separately, they are raking up admirers. This time, as well, Ranma seems to have gotten himself a particularly nosey and extremely strong lover who might not hand him over to anyone.
