Pseudo Harem Episode 8 Recap

Our couple has finally made it official, and this episode captures them savouring the aftermath of their confession. Despite their new relationship status, they remain as sweet and playful as ever. The biggest change between them is the occasional moments of flustered embarrassment that now occur more frequently. Another significant development is that Eiji has told his mother about his new girlfriend, and she is overjoyed at the idea of gaining a daughter. During a lively visit to his house, Rin shyly expresses her wish to hug Eiji. Though they both get embarrassed, they don’t quite follow through, even after initiating.

In the next part of the episode, Rin and Eiji go on a date, but both of them are dressed in their school uniforms. This was Rin’s idea—she wanted one last date like this before they graduated. The day is filled with playful, carefree moments as they act like kids, doing whatever they please. Along the way, they bump into Aya, Rin’s little sister. Her interaction with Eiji is heartwarming, and it’s clear how naturally Eiji connects with children.

But the highlight of the episode is when Rin takes Eiji shopping. We all know Eiji’s fashion sense could use some help, so he turns to his new girlfriend for advice. This shopping trip doubles as a mini-date, and it’s here that they share their first hug—this time, initiated by Eiji.
