Doo-joon hurt his hands while protecting Hee-won, and she became his personal caregiver from then on. The chemistry between both Doo-joon and Hee-won remains, but she becomes heavily criticised in her office. Her own coworkers start to badmouth her, but then control themselves when they realise that it was genuinely not her fault for hiding the truth about her being the president’s lover. From then on, Doo-joon and Hee-won become more physically intimate with each other, and the chemistry is off the charts in this episode.

Se-hyeon finally comes to talk to Doo-joon and tells him how he’s the only one who can stop her mother. She understands that her mother has turned completely evil and she’s going to destroy both Doo-joon and Hee-won for her own benefit. Back at the office, Hee-won still gets badmouthed by coworkers, and she tries to brush it off. She also confronts Jeong-eum and makes her understand that she will not be defeated just like that. Doo-joon finally comes to the office and blames Jeong-eum in front of everyone at the board meeting for slandering him for no reason or proof.

Doo-joon then calls all the other members who also participated in the competition to tell them that they can opt for a re-judging. It becomes clear that Jeong-eum is planning something for Hee-won, and later, we might get to know what it is. Back at home, both Hee-won’s friends take care of Hee-won before she presents her product to the public. In this episode, Doo-joon and Hee-won finally go to their ultrasound check-up for the first time together, and there they shop for a bit as well. Thankfully, Doo-joon’s mother finally learns that it was Hee-won she met on that day.

Doo-joon also starts digging into his sister-in-law’s shady activities in detail and realises that she is trying to put together a new board for the company. Hee-won also does a phenomenal job promoting her non alcoholic beer, and it makes everyone at the company emotional as well. Finally, Doo-joon exposes Jeong-eum in front of everyone, and she fails to take everything from him. He played a massive game behind her back, and now she has no power over Doo-joon anymore.

Back at home, Se-hyeon also confronts her mother for acting crazy. Everything finally looks positive for Doo-joon and Hee-won. Towards the end, they even go on a date and spend some great romantic moments together. But just when Doo-joon and Hee-won were making each other’s parents meet, Jeong-eum barges in. There is still doubt as to what she wants, but maybe she wants to create more problems.

I loved today’s episode, and hopefully, tomorrow we will finally see everything work out for both of them. After everything they’ve endured, like the slander, power struggles, betrayals, and emotional battles, they truly deserve peace. But with Jeong-eum barging in at the very moment their families were about to meet, it’s clear that the storm isn’t over yet.

This episode perfectly balanced romance and corporate drama. The heartfelt moments remind us that danger is still lurking just around the corner.
