People’s Choice Awards 2022: BTS and BLACKPINK Get Nominated, Read on

The People’s Choice Awards 2022 have begun votes and the fight to bring our favourites to the top has started! With BTS and BLACKPINK getting nominated in various categories, it seems like this year’s voting wouldn’t be an easy one.

Earlier today, the votes for the People’s Choice Awards 2022 began with two of the biggest Kpop groups competing in two of the biggest categories and BTS even competing with their member Jungkook in another category. This year’s awards have really made a splash among fandoms and we are all ready to cast our votes for the best!

BTS has been nominated in 3 categories this year namely- Music Vidoe of the Year with their title song Yet to Come from their album Proof, Concert of the Year with their Permission to Dance on Stage in LA which was held earlier this year and lastly, Group of the Year. The group is all ready to take another triple win this year after winning 3 awards last year and we are excited about how well ARMYs are going to compete with others.

On the other hand, BTS is also going against one of their own members- Jungkook as the two compete in the Music Video of the Year category. Jungkook’s collaboration music video with the American artist Charlie Puth Left and Right has also been nominated in this category and is competing against the Yet to Come music video as well as BLACKPINK’s Pink Venom music video.

The duo has also been nominated for the Collaboration Song category with the same while competing against some of the best collaborations of the year.

Finally, moving on to the Kpop girl group that is also creating waves with their comeback after 2 years- BLACKPINK has also been nominated for 2 categories in the awards this year. Competing against BTS in the Group of the Year category with their Pink Venom music video and Born Pink album. The group has also been nominated for the Music Video of the Year category and is giving good competition to the other nominees in the category.

This year’s People Choice Awards is really going to see brilliant competition among the artists and the fandoms as the popularity awards see how competitive and support fans of the various artists can be.
