Mother’s Day Plot/Synopsis

The synopsis of the movie details that this film will follow a former spy Nina as she tries to figure out how to get the son she has never seen before back from the kidnappers who have taken him. In the clip exploring the main character’s abilities, we see her standing opposite a local thug in the area, ready to bash him with just a bag and beer bottles in it. She is seen sizing up the man in front of her, waiting for her turn to make a sudden move.

As the lady from the grocery store asks her to take it easy on the goons, the first one advances towards her, and she throws a beer can. Now the other dudes from the gang come in and surround her. She is equipped to take them all out, but she takes the relatively non-violent route and incapacitates them. However, in the trailer, we see that she doesn’t have time for this. She calls up an old associate and meets up with him to let him know that there is something wrong with her child.

She receives an ominous audio message stating that they have her son and that he should be picked up if he needs to be alive. We also see a bunch of people evacuated from this area, and it seems that they are also all being rescued from someplace. The action sequences are crazy, and we will see Nina truly kicking everyone’s butt, stopping at nothing to find her son, whom she knows nothing about. While there are still a lot of questions, like why does she never see her son? We can find out all these answers by tuning in to Netflix.

  1. They cans of beer in a plastic bag, not beer bottles. And have you actually watched the film? You don’t sound as if you have, or maybe just glossed over the plot, but it seems as if you really need to watch it again in order to get your review half right.
