Planning to Watch Monster Inside? Here’s All You Need to Know About the Upcoming Horror Documentary

Hulu’s upcoming crime documentary Monster Inside is going to give us a rather horrifying look into America’s most extreme haunted house. Looks like the OTT platform is gearing up well for the spooky season, offering us a deep look at what is considered by people one of the most haunted houses in the world. This is, of course, a part of the platform’s annual Huluween.

The documentary is from Lion Television US and is directed by Andrew Renzi. Ahead of its release, let us have a look at some key details surrounding the release.

Monster Inside Plot/Synopsis

The official description for the show reads: “What would it be like to be trapped in a real-life horror movie? Monster Inside: America’s Most Extreme Haunted House follows the story of Russ McKamey. The Navy Veteran who lures horror enthusiasts into his web. They find themselves pulled into the no-holds-barred world of McKamey Manor – a haunt that doesn’t end until Russ says so.”

The trailer for the documentary film starts with a woman saying how obsessed she is with horror and how she was excited to get the feel of surviving a horror movie. But soon enough her desires were proved wrong. In the next frame, we have Russ McKamey take over and show us how a fellow person is doing while she is tortured.

The movie is clearly going to follow this trajectory where we have real-life people talk about their immersive horror experience in a manor that dulls the line between reality and fiction. Moreover, it is going to cover Russ’ journey from aspiring to become an entertainer to ending up as the torturer or the villain in so many people’s lives. Hulu is not shying away from showing us the gore out there in the real world and we are in for it.
