Monica O My Darling trailer has been finally released, after unveiling its highly anticipated teaser during the Tudum 2022 event. It is an upcoming thriller comedy film, which will be premiering on the streaming platform, next month. The film is written by Yogesh Chandekar, directed by Vasan Bala and produced by Sarita Patil, Sanjay Routray and Dikssha Jyote Routray under the banner Matchbox Shots for Netflix.
The official synopsis of the film reads, “A slick robotics expert joins a murderous plot after a passionate affair takes a sudden turn, but nothing — not even death — is what it seems to be.” It follows a young man who desperately tries to make it big with some unlikely allies and a dastardly diabolical plan to pull off the perfect murder. It will take us on a roller coaster of dark and devilish twists and turns in this crime drama where survival is the key.
The incredible cast ensemble of the film includes Rajkummar Rao as Jayant Arkhedkar, Huma Qureshi as Monica Machado, Radhika Apte, Sikandar Kher, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor, Bagavathi Perumal, Sukant Goel and Zayn Marie Khan.

The trailer shows Rajkummar Rao’s character Jayant Arkhedkar being blackmailed by Ms Monica, who seems to be also blackmailing other people, for having affair with her or the crimes they did with her. They are left with just one and the last option – Murder. We presume that they are successful in murdering her, but what do they do with the dead body?
That’s when the real chase starts as they are worrying over where to dispose of the body, on the other hand, we are introduced to this eccentric police inspector – who is asking them where is the body. Now they have the choice to either confess their crimes or fabricate a fake story that seems true enough to get them out of the mess.
It will be a thrilling yet comedic game of cat and mouse, where Jayant will have to commit many more crimes to cover up the big crime, which he might have or not have done. What will be the end result of this chase, we will have to find out in the film.
