Desperate times. Desperate Measures. With the latest addition to our beloved franchise about to arrive at the theatres, here are the Mission Impossible 7 Predictions that might come true.
The way that Tom Cruise has been raising the bar with every new MI movie is unreal. Higher stakes mean higher risks. And the guy makes sure that his audience feels it, just like Ethan does. We know what’s going to happen in the upcoming movie as far as the action is concerned. But do we know what the stakes will be? What are the risks that Ethan will take to prevent another world-level catastrophe, perhaps? Here are our Mission Impossible 7 Predictions that might take shape in the movie.
Mission Impossible 7 Predictions
Ethan’s Past Will Catch Up to Him
We know that Henry Czerny is making a comeback to the franchise after more than 25 years. We last saw him in 1996’s Mission Impossible (I) as Eugene Kittridge, the then director of IMF. In the trailer, he tells Ethan that he cannot escape his past. So the past is definitely involved. We also have Vanessa Kirby, who will play Alanna Mitsopolis, daughter of Vanessa Redgrave’s Max.
Max was a villain in the first MI movie as well as the posthumous villain in 2018’s Mission: Impossible – Fallout, in which Alanna, aka the White Widow, mentions her in a speech. So it seems that many faces from the past will return, and when they do, it’s never good news. Desperate times are incoming, Ethan.

A New Organization Is Pulling the Strings Now
Gabriel (Esai Morales), the antagonist, if not one of the antagonists in the movie, tells Ethan that he has no idea about the powers Gabriel represents. This means that he works for an organization. It will probably be the counterpart of the criminal organization Spectre from the James Bond movie Spectre (2015). Pom Klementieff, as Paris, is an assassin who will go one on one against Ethan and apparently give him a tough time. We have to wait to find out if the organization is revealed in this movie or in Dead Reckoning: Part II.

Nuclear Threats Resurgent
We see a submarine in the trailer, and it fires a missile. Is that nuclear? Mission Impossible: Fallout had plutonium cores. What will it be this time? Keeping in mind that a new organization will be introduced or maybe it already existed and will be revealed, we can expect another disaster of epic proportions that Ethan and his friends will have to prevent.
Saving “Grace”?
We have Hayley Atwell’s Grace, whose identity is yet unknown. But she will, from the looks of it, help Ethan or will be crucial for Ethan to find what he is looking for. Is she connected to the organization mentioned above? Or is she its former employee? Or did the organization kill someone close to her? Only Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One has the answers.
