My Happy Marriage Episode 2 is highly anticipated among fans. My Happy Marriage (My Blissful Marriage) or Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon (わたしの幸せな結婚) is an upcoming anime series which will be premiering on Netflix. Based on the light novel of the same name written by Akumi Agitogi and illustrated by Tsukiho Tsukioka, it also has a manga adaptation illustrated by Rito Kohsaka.
The live-action film adaptation of the fantasy series was released in Japan on March 2023. Following the story of Miyo, who enters an arranged marriage with a ruthless commander, officially got its own anime series announced to be directed by Takehiro Kubota under Kinema Citrus Studios. Ami Satō, Takahito Ōnishi and Momoka Toyoda are credited as the writers, and Evan Call gives the music.
Licensed under Netflix, the series is scheduled to run for 13 episodes. With an estimated duration of 20-25 minutes each, the episodes are available in English dub and subtitles. The opening theme song is Anata no Soba ni (貴方の側に。, “By Your Side”) by Riria and the ending theme song, Vita Philosophica (ヰタ・フィロソフィカ), is performed by Kashitarō Itō.

In the first episode, Miyo is shown in her father’s house enduring the brutal torture from her step-mother and step-sister. Every step of the way, they criticize her for being an ordinary girl. Following the death of her mother when she was a toddler, her life has become a living hell, and she accepts it as it is. She develops feelings for a boy but her father marries him to her sister Kaya instead.
Miyo is married off to a commander known for his ruthlessness who runs off his previous fiances within a few days. She arrives at her new home which no expectation of a better future. However, she is pleasantly surprised when she meets Kudo, as he is one of the most beautiful men she has ever seen.
