Love All Play Episode 16 Recap: Say Goodbye To Our Beloved Yunis Team!

Love All Play, alternatively known as The Speed Going To You is 493 KM (너에게 가는 속도 493km) is a 2022 Korean Sports Rom-com directed by Jo Woong. The series runs for 16 episodes and stars Park Ju-hyun, Chae Jong-hyeop, Park Ji-hyun, Kim Moo-joon and Seo Ji-hye in lead roles. Love All Play Episode 16 has a runtime of 62 minutes.

In Love All Play Episode 16, Tae-jun is adamant about playing the final match in the tournament even after the doctor warns him to not play or he will have to get a surgery. Tae-yang doesn’t have an idea about it and is excited to win the final match and win a gold medal. Tae-jun has decided to ask out Tae-yang on the court and he cannot let this opportunity go to waste. Jung-hwan had noticed something wrong with Tae-jun’s knee and on the day of the final match, he notices it again.

Jung-hwan asks Tae-jun if he has hurt his knee and if so, he shouldn’t play the match. Jung-hwan had heard Tae-jun groan all night and can also see that he is limping but Tae-jun doesn’t want to give up and left before Jung-hwan could convince him further. Tae-yang overhears their conversation and she visits Tae-jun doctor to ask her about his condition. The doctor refuses to give out personal information but Tae-yang asks her if it is okay for him to play a match, she tells her that he has been prohibited to play for some time.

Jung-hwan, Yu-min and Tae-jun have been waiting for Tae-yang in the stadium but she doesn’t show up for a long time. Even when she comes back, she refuses to play with Tae-jun. Tae-jun tries to pursue her but Tae-yang forfeits the match if Tae-jun is not going to do so. While Tae-jun tries to convince her, Tae-yang falls down from stairs and injures her ankle. Now, they have no choice but to forfeit. Both of them end up injured in the hospital.

Tae-jun’s family finds out about his injury and is worried about him. However, the doctor tells them that he can recover in six months and it’s all thanks to Tae-yang who injured herself while trying to stop him from playing. Tae-jun has decided to get Tae-yang’s father’s permission to date her and call him daily. On the other hand, Jung-hwan buys gifts for Coach Lee to accept him as his future son-in-law. Both the fathers complain about the boys but also know that no one will their daughter as the boys do.

Love All Play Episode 16 Ending

A lot of things change in a span of a year. Coach Lee is now the national team’s coach, Youngsim is now a coach at Yunis and has got her daughter’s custody back, Seung-woo has settled with his new business, Jung-hwan and Yu-min are still in love with each other and both Tae-yang and Tae-jun’s families have accepted each other. The match that Tae-jun and Tae-yang couldn’t play a year ago, they are playing it again. Yet again, they are playing the final match against Jung-hwan and Yu-min. It’s not about win or loss for them, it’s about not giving up until the end.

Love All Play Episode 16 Review

Love All Play Episode 16 makes all the wrong things right. The story leaps a year forward and the characters have developed to become their best selves. The drama started with badminton with sadness and ended with Badminton with happiness. The Yunis team gave us beautiful friendships, romance and life lessons and the goodbye was really a good one.
