Lazarus Episode 2 Recap
This episode sheds more light on Dr. Skinner’s background and hints at the deeper workings of the world around him. Axel regains consciousness only to realise he’s now officially part of Lazarus, whether he likes it or not. A tracking band, which he’s unable to remove, constantly reports his location to the organisation’s higher-ups. In a desperate move, he tries to use Christine as leverage, but the attempt backfires, and he’s quickly subdued with a powerful electric shock.
During a briefing later on, more details about Dr. Skinner’s past come to light. Once regarded as a brilliant mind with a vision for a better world, Skinner had earned not one, but three Nobel Prizes, all of which he dedicated to charitable causes. He was a vocal supporter of environmental action, urging global leaders to prioritise climate change, though his warnings were consistently ignored. Disillusioned with humanity’s apathy, he eventually vanished from the public eye. Now, it seems he’s returned, bringing with him the disturbing truth behind his latest drug.

The team finally catches a promising lead on Skinner’s whereabouts. It turns out he once purchased a hidden shelter, which could explain how he remained off the grid for so long. However, upon arriving, things feel off. The company behind the shelter has gone bankrupt, and the facility itself appears deserted and neglected.
As the episode builds toward its climax, it becomes clear that this conspiracy stretches far wider than anyone had imagined.
Lazarus Episode 3 Review

Today’s episode starts on a very interesting note, as we see Doctor Skinner has some very good plans up his sleeve. Some hackers have made it impossible for anyone to scan Doctor Skinner’s face by pasting his face onto almost everyone around the world. Only a handful of hackers can pull this off, and the Lazarus team plans to get to them. Apart from that, they have another lead with Claude, a professor, who used to be a mentor of Doug and has worked with Skinner before. Axel and Doug go to his place to find something out while Leland and Christine reach Doctor Skinner’s residence to find something as well.
Doug and Axel find out that their lead has been living on the streets with the homeless population after a situation. There, a man who suspiciously looked like Doctor Skinner was also present. But that angle was not at all explored in this episode. However, they do find Claude later while he is playing chess with some people. Apparently, he got jealous of Doctor Skinner and tried to cheat his way through his career. This made his university throw him out, and now he’s on the streets.

However, from him, they get very important information that Doctor Skinner’s grandmother might still be alive in Istanbul. For this mission, Axel and Leland are selected, and they reach her. However, because of Leland’s stupidity, things quickly get out of hand, and they land themselves in huge trouble.
Verdict

Today’s episode was really good because it showcased a lot of things in a very short time. Not only did we learn a lot about the mystery surrounding Doctor Skinner, but we also had a balanced inclusion of action and story. The previous episodes felt much more action-heavy while the story was not that explored, but this was not the case this time.
I am genuinely looking forward to the next episode.
