Karan Johar, who has been a trending topic on social media sites, due to one reason or another seems to have finally bid goodbye to the social networking site, Twitter. On Monday afternoon, Indian filmmaker and television personality, who is often informally referred to as KJo, tweeted his last post on his page.
In the tweet, Johar wrote that he is making space for more positive energies only and going off the site is step one towards that. Therefore, he ended it with, ‘Goodbye Twitter!.’ This move might come as a surprise for a few or maybe a necessary move, considering the amount of trolling the Koffee With Karan show host gets.
Recently KJo wrapped up Koffee With Karan Season 7, where he called upon some of the known social media stars including Kusha Kapila, Tanmay Bhatt, Niharika NM and Danish Sait. The episode eventually turned into a light roast of the host, where the guest pointed out the obvious things that might have irked the audience.

From being biased towards certain celebrities to nudging the guest to talk about their private lives, Johar took on every criticism and answered them without losing his cool, maybe with some drops of sweat perhaps. Regardless, he has been the topic of discussion every week as the fans dissected the episodes of their favourite stars.
Even on his show, he has mentioned how a snake emoji appears with his name on Twitter, and even took on the controversial topic of nepotism, popularised by his show guest in the previous season. Although Johar has commented that he doesn’t really pay attention to the memes and trolling, it seems like he has caught the wind of it and decided to take a step back from everything.
However, riding high on the success of the film Brahmastra, Karan Johar will be next seen directing Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, which wrapped up shooting a few weeks ago. The film also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi. It is slated to go on the floors next year.
