Idol I Episode 10 Recap

Se-na tells Ra-ik how she feels confused about his confession, as it came out of nowhere. Things become very awkward between them because Se-na obviously did not think that she would be confessed to by her idol. But Ra-ik tells her that he will wait for her answer for as long as needed. That night, they obviously could not sleep properly because of this, and when Se-na wakes up in the morning, she finds out Ra-ik has moved out. He did this because he knew that she would be uncomfortable after his confession, so he returned to his place before she could wake up.

Se-na, on the other hand, goes to work and still cannot think of anything other than the confession. Thankfully, we get to know that Jae-hee has been moved to the general ward and is out of the ICU, though he is yet to regain consciousness. On the other hand, Byung-gyun prepares a solid case proving that Ra-ik was involved with both Woo-seong and Jae-hee’s cases, planning to drag him into the investigation again. Both Ra-ik and Se-na pine for each other as they refused to contact first because they thought they would bother the other.

Because they couldn’t stay away, a hilarious situation happens when Se-na catches Ra-ik snooping on her. Here, they spend a really cute and romantic moment, making Ra-ik aware of Se-na’s affections and her shyness. But just when everything was going great, someone published an article about Se-na and Ra-ik living together at the same place. This creates quite a stir, and Se-na strictly forbids Ra-ik to get involved. The journalist also reveals that Se-na’s father was a supposed killer, messing the situation up in the worst possible way.

Following this, Se-na gets hounded even at her office by angry fans and journalists. In such a scenario, Ra-ik tries to meet Se-na but gets stopped by Chung-jae, who was instructed by Se-na not to let Ra-ik come to her place. But Ra-ik does not listen to him and goes to save Se-na anyway, and leaves the place with her. He then takes her to a mountainous cabin, and here, Se-na cries on Ra-ik’s shoulders. But later, this is where they shared their very first kiss. The next day, they wake up to a peaceful morning, but that soon turns bad because the prosecutor has filed an official case against Ra-ik again.

However, a miracle also happens, and Ra-ik gets major evidence against the actual killer, and Jae-hee wakes up from his coma as well. Ra-ik goes back to his apartment right away and opens his locker to find something very suspicious. Ra-ik finally says that he knows who killed Woo-seong.

This episode ends on a cliffhanger without showcasing who the actual culprit is. But I think I already know who it is, and it is none other than Ra-ik’s ex-girlfriend, who will turn out to be the main culprit. Plus, now that Jae-hee has woken up, things should go smoothly.
