Helluva Boss Season 3 Episodes 6, 7 Review on X: The Hellaverse has officially entered the post-finale discussion phase where nobody seems to be leaving unhurt. With the final two episodes of Season 3 Part 1, horror, heartbreaking musical moments and enough characters’ discourses have come up to keep X (formerly Twitter) occupied for a while.
While some viewers are calling Episodes 6 and 7 among the best of Helluva Boss Season 3 Part I, others do not seem completely convinced by the character decisions, particularly about Stolas and Blitzø. The reactions appear all over the place: some fans are crying, while some are furious, and others are wondering whether Stolas needs to take a break from being at the centre of everything.

Helluva Boss Season 3 Episodes 6, 7 Review on X: Fans Praise the Horror
Episode 6 seems to have made quite a good impression on the viewers who enjoy the darker side of the show. X user @JaimeSpect called it a scary and good episode, writing, “Ep 6 is scary, and good episode. I like the Fizz Villain song here. (Poor Loona though)” while they write that, “Ep 7 is mixed here”, mentioning that the emotional song involving Stolas and Via made them cry.
Meanwhile, user @batgirl2833 had a pointed observation about the episode writing, “Notice how episode 6 of Helluva Boss season 3 is the best one so far. And Stolas isn’t in it at all”. The user rather bluntly put across the opinion about Stolas.
User @lycheesandcum also placed Episodes 6 and 7 among their favourites, declaring Episodes 4, 6 and 7 as the best of the season so far.
Another, @NativeBrony_91, rated Episode 6 a 9.5 out of 10 while giving a perfect score of 10 to Episode 7 and Season 3 Part I an overall score of 9.5, describing it as “holy wow the mid-season finale!!!”
For @saeliaverse, the storyline was not entirely satisfactory, and they questioned whether the complicated relationship between Stolas and Octavia was resolved too fast, writing, “The fact that the complicated relationship between Stolas and Octavia felt so important in the plot all of that to be settled in one episode feels rushed ? + we thought we’d get stolitz but Stolas date Vassago, idk”.
Fans Question Episode 7’s Character Decisions
A rather strong criticism came from @FatherofMarkers, who did not support Episode 7 over what they saw as an unfair outcome for an abuser and his victim, arguing that one character received a happy ending while the victim was left with a terrible outcome, writing, “I hate everything about the new Helluva Boss episode 7 cause what do you mean a rapist abuser gets a happy ending meanwhile his victim gets possibly the worst treatment in cartoon so far. Atp make it the Stolas show since they admire him so much which is ew.”
A similar reaction came from @snickerolli who suggested Stolas could have remained a villain, writing, “i genuinely believe that helluva boss could have been one of the greatest shows ever if stolas either remained a villain or just didnt exist. every problem this show has can be traced back to him somehow.”
The reactions raise a more serious concern around storytelling, and seem to suggest that when a series explores abuse and complicated relationships, viewers want accountability to be handled thoughtfully. A character’s flaws can make them interesting, but does it mean the narrative should excuse the wrongs they have done and overlook the people they caused harm to?
Helluva Boss Season 3 Part 1 Wins Over Hellaverse
Despite the backlash, many viewers seem to remain completely invested. For user @cyndaydreams, Helluva Boss looks like it surpassed Hazbin Hotel as their favourite series, writing, “Helluva Boss might have surpassed Hazbin as my favorite series (even if my #1 blorbo is in Hazbin) the first half of this season has absolutely blown me away emotionally. I love these characters”.
Helluva Boss Season 3 Part I: X Verdict
The Helluva Boss Season 3 Part I finale has given the fans a lot to celebrate and criticise. While Episode 6 has earned praise for its horror and musical moments, Episode 7 seems to have sparked debates over Stolas and Octavia’s relationship, pacing and the larger show’s handling of character accountability. With reactions ranging from a perfect score to viewers questioning the elements, there seems to be no universal agreement on how the episodes feel.
Part 2 might have to do some explaining now since the fans need emotional payoff, character development and accountability, as per the reviews on X for Season 3 Episodes 6 and 7. Whether the show would deliver it entirely or not is a separate matter altogether.
