Bigg Boss 20 Episode 54 brought another round of unresolved issues, questions around friendships and housemates getting comfortable with their personal grudges. While Love Gill and Mahhi Vij found themselves at odds over what appeared to be a rather ordinary exchange around breakfast, the captaincy task soon gave everyone something bigger to fight about.
From Arishfa Khan and ScoutOP’s ugly verbal spat to Gullu and Yung’s friendship taking another hit, the episode had more than one dramatic confrontation to rely on, and the captaincy task also gave the house its new captain: Kanika Mann. The house also had a fairly different view as all the contestants were seen sitting together at the dining table for their meals, which is, in fact, a rather rare sight in the Bigg Boss house.
Bigg Boss 20 Episode 54: Love Gill and Mahhi Vij’s Breakfast Conversation Turns Into Another Fight
The quota of drama for Episode 54 began with Mahhi Vij and Love Gill on opposite sides of yet another disagreement. It began when Love appeared offended by Mahhi’s expressions while Qazi Touqeer was speaking to ScoutOP about the conversation and clarity between Love Gill and Scout himself, and soon Mahhi was seen asking about the breakfast to another housemate. However, what followed was a complicated exchange involving “besan”.
Mahhi asked Aamrapali Dubey about “besan”, to which Aamrapali responded by asking her to ask Love. When Mahhi approached Love, the latter told her that she would come after others had done chopping. But things got messy with the communication that followed. When Aamrapali asked Mahhi whether she had managed to get the besan, she replied, saying that Love had said that Aamrapali would give it. This triggered Love, and she decided to confront Mahhi, even questioning the concern Mahhi showed towards her, suggesting that it was not genuine. She also began mimicking Mahhi’s mannerisms while expressing her frustration and saying that she would have to learn “chall kapat” from Mahhi.
Mahhi was seen telling Arishfa and Uditi that she did not want to pick up the matter that involved Scout because Scout was a part of it, adding, “nahi toh mai do minute mei isko nanga karke boldeti tere mei self respect nahi hai, kisi ki girlfriend aake teri dhajiya udaake chali gayi toh bhi tu marr rahi hai”.
Captaincy Task Turns Messy
The captaincy task brought geometric shapes with numbers written on them. Housemates had to position themselves on the correct shape according to the number called out by Bigg Boss, and Mahhi Vij was appointed the “sanchalak”, who had the responsibility to decide which two contestants had stepped out of the said shape first in every round.
The rounds saw the following eliminations:
- Round 1 – Uditi Singh, Yung DSA
- Round 2 – Qazi Touqeer, Manish Goel
- Round 3 – ScoutOP, Gullu
- Round 4 – Arishfa Khan, Aamrapali Dubey
- Round 5 – Love Gill, Aasif Khan
The task concluded with Kanika Mann becoming the new captain of the Bigg Boss 20 house. The task, however, was not as peaceful as one might assume.
Arishfa Khan and ScoutOP’s Argument Gets Ugly
Arishfa Khan and ScoutOP got into a heated exchange during one of the rounds. While trying to secure her position, Arishfa attempted to climb over other housemates, during which Scout claimed that her knee had hit him in the face. Arishfa clarified that it happened unintentionally and that it happened as part of the task. Scout then began mimicking Arishfa, and the argument about the accidental collision turned into something more personal when Scout called Arishfa a rotten apple, to which Uditi objected and jumped in.
Arishfa was then seen sliding towards another geometric shape as housemates rushed to secure their positions. During the commotion, she appeared to get hurt as well, eventually getting out of the task itself alongside Aamrapali. Scout then began mocking Arishfa, which Arishfa was unwilling to take silently. She responded with an equally loud verbal confrontation. Much later, while Scout and Arishfa were seen passing by each other, Scout attempted to say sorry, but she responded with two sharp words, “get lost”.
Yung and Gullu’s Fight Brings Scout’s Friendship Into the Picture
Another friendship equation was taking a rather uncomfortable turn when Yung appeared upset after he clashed with Gullu. When Gullu was out of the task, Yung was seen giggling, which eventually led to a verbal spat. The disagreement escalated when Gullu, who was sitting on the shark figure near the poolside, got up and pushed Yung in the chest.
Manish Goel immediately stepped in to intervene and prevent the situation from escalating. However, the confrontation also took a concerning turn when Manish was seen experiencing breathlessness later. He was subsequently called into the medical room and was fine afterwards.
But for Yung DSA, the incident was not just about the fight with Gullu but also about how the people he considered his friends reacted when things that involved him happened. Yung questioned Scout and others because he felt that nobody supported him properly when Gullu pushed him. What particularly upset him was Scout asking multiple people about what had happened instead of believing what Yung said. For Yung, this raised questions about their friendship itself. Scout, however, was not particularly pleased with Yung’s behaviour either and told Aamrapali, expressing his frustration that he would not keep accepting everything Yung said simply because he considered him his younger brother.
Bigg Boss Season 20 Episode 54: Captaincy and Chaos
Episode 54 had major conflicts running simultaneously, and none seemed to be finding a solution really. Love and Mahhi’s argument showed how previous episodes can turn even routine household conversation into personal confrontations. Arishfa and Scout’s verbal spar demonstrated how task-related arguments can become personal, while Yung’s fallout with Gullu brought Scout in and thereby brought another friendship equation under scrutiny. Whether these disagreements, arguments and chaos will fall into the next episode is still unknown.
With Kanika Mann taking over the captaincy, Mahhi Vij’s captaincy term has ended. Whether Scout and Yung can sort out their differences, or if a permanent crack will form in the friendship inside the house, remains to be seen.
