Heartstopper Season 2: Has Netflix Renewed the Queer Teen Rom-Com Series Yet?

Netflix’s latest rom-com series Heartstopper is winning viewers’ hearts. The series is based on a graphic novel of the same name. The show is based on Alice Oseman’s webcomic and graphic novel of the name. Directed by Euros Lynn, it stars Kit Connor, Joe Locke, William Gao, Yasmin Finney, Corinna Brown, Kizzy Edgell, Tobie Donovan and many others.

As soon as the show was released, many took to their social media to share their reactions. Netflix viewers showered a lot of love and praise for the teenage love story between two boys that is pure and sweet. The show also has a comedic tone to it. People have said good things about the show for many reasons, especially for its representation of gay and bisexual people.

Ever since the show came out, many binged watched it and wanted more. People hope that Netflix brings a season 2 of Heartstopper to enjoy. They want to see more of Charlie and Nick on screen together.

Will There Be Heartstopper Season 2?

Netflix has not commented anything about making a season 2. But considering the popularity and appreciation, the show has received, one might hope that the streaming platform treats viewers with a new season. One has to wait for a few days more to know if there will be more to the teen romantic comedy series or not.

Heartstopper Season 1 was based on volumes 1 and 2 of the graphic novel. So one can hope that they tell the volume 3 story in the next season (if it happens).
