Harry Styles’ Reaction to Rumours of Spitting on Chris Pine is Hilarious, Watch

Harry Styles recently attended the Venice Film Festival with the star cast of his upcoming movie, Don’t Worry Darling. There’s a lot of tension going on, not in the movie but between the star cast. The team that was present at the festival also included Olivia Wilde, Chris Pine, Florence Pugh, Gemma Chan and Nick Kroll.

A video surfaced online from the festival where people thought the As it Was singer spat on Chris before taking his seat. Fans were shocked to see what happened and wanted answers. After the video went viral, Pine’s rep cleared the rumours and revealed that Styles didn’t spit on anyone.

Harry Styles is back in New York and performed at Madison Square last night. The actors-singer joked about the incident that left the audience in splits. Harry said, “This is our tenth show at Madison Square Garden. It’s wonderful, wonderful, wonderful to be back in New York. I just popped very quickly to Venice to spit on Chris Pine. But fear not, we are back.”

Harry had a big smile, and the fans couldn’t stop cheering. Just like the “spit” video, even this video has gone viral on social media.

Meanwhile, Chris’ rep denied the spitting incident in a statement to Variety earlier and stated, “This is a ridiculous story — a complete fabrication and the result of an odd online illusion that is clearly deceiving and allows for foolish speculation. There is nothing but respect between these two men and any suggestion otherwise is a blatant attempt to create drama that simply does not exist.”

Meanwhile, Don’t Worry Darling premiered at the Venice Film Festival, and Florence Pugh got a 4-minute standing ovation. The critics’ review of the movie is mixed. But more than the movie, the differences between the director and the actors are getting more attention. Fans couldn’t help but notice how Florence and Olivia completely avoided each other. The film will release in the US theatres on September 23, 2022.

Harry also has another interesting release in 2022 – My Policeman. The trailer for the love drama was released on Wednesday. The film will release on Amazon Prime Video in November.
