The Zone Survival Mission Episode (1 to 3) Review: Survival Game With a Deep Message

The Zone Survival Mission is an all-new variety show that is here to make you laugh like no other, but that is not the only thing that it does. Directed by Cho Hyojin and Kim Dongjin, starring the Running Man series Lee Kwang-soo and Yoo Jae-suk along with Kwon Yuri.

The Zone Survival Mission takes the players to different zones with a specific stimulation that triggers challenges for the group. All they have to do is survive for four hours in the disaster-simulated virtual space.

Disney+Hotstar’s synopsis of the show reads:

In a disaster-simulated virtual space, members have to survive four hours in the unknown.

The Zone Survival Mission takes the members Lee Kwang-soo, Yoo Jae-suk and Kwon Yuri to different zones that require them to survive for four hours. A simple task but it is filled with unexpected challenges that will make the group go crazy as they take part in each of these zones.

The three zones that they have taken part in until now are named the Eye Zone, the Water Zone and the Virus Zone. And while they are completely different from each other, these zones have a hidden meaning of what our future will look like because of the present mistakes that we are making.

The idea of this survival show is really interesting and is one that will catch your attention in minutes. And to top it off the members are none other than the hosts of the very successful Running Man series.

So that is enough to guarantee a laugh from the audience and this trio is definitely not one to be underestimated. The teamwork and hilarious chemistry between this group are worth the time spent watching this show and I cannot wait for what more zones are going to open up to survive.

The entertainment that this show brings along with a message of the disastrous future that we might be heading towards really makes this show different from other such variety shows. It also stars other celebrities which will make you wonder if they are here to help the trio or to make things harder for them.

Altogether, this is an entertaining show which will make you binge.

A good start to a variety show that brings more than just laughter and entertainment. An eye-opener to the future that we may be heading towards with zones and challenges that will make us binge the episodes.

This is definitely worth streaming and the group does an amazing job is keeping up the comedy.
