First Kill: Has Netflix Renewed the Young Adult Vampire Drama For Another Season?

First Kill Season 2 is just the buzz everyone is getting into right now. The latest Netflix series revolves around of young adult genre and focuses on vampires, lesbians and coming-of-age, in general. So, if everyone is obsessing over the show and a potential season two, we get it!

First Kill is adapted from the story by V.E. Schwab and directed by Jet Wilkinson. It contains eight episodes with a runtime of approximately 40-50 minutes each and stars Jonas Dylan Allen, Elizabeth Mitchell and Sarah Catherine Hook, alongside other cast members. Since its release, it has made a big impact on the people as this is one vampire show coming to the frontline after icons like The Vampire Diaries and the Twilight franchise.

By the end of the show, we saw Juliette accidentally turn Calliope’s brother, Theo into a vampire. This was one tragic and heartbreaking thing to see that Theo is now the same thing that killed his mother. Juliette’s brother, Oliver is the one Theo seeks help from but, we don’t get to meet him by the end. Ending on a cliffhanger, everyone’s question is will there be a First Kill Season 2.

First Kill Season 2: When Will It Release?

We need to know Theo’s transformation journey and get him to meet Oliver and, all of this can only happen if there is a season two. It is evident that it is inevitable that the show will be renewed. However, Netflix has not given out any official word yet. Looking at the fanfare surrounding the show, Netflix will come to renew sooner or later.
