Fall is a mini crime thriller series that premiered on Disney+ Hotstar on 9th December 2022. It is directed by Siddarth Ramaswamy, who is also the cinematographer of this series and has been co-produced by Banijay Asia. The series is an adaptation of the award-winning Canadian series Vertige written by Michelle Allen and produced by Productions Pixcom Inc.
The cast of the series includes Anjali, SPB Charan, Sonia Agarwal, Santhosh Pratap, Namita Krishnamoorthy, Thalaivasal Vijay, and Poornima Bagyaraj. The episodes have a runtime of about 35-40 minutes and follow the story of Divya, who loses her memory after she falls down from her house balcony.
Fall Ending Explained
Fall follows the story of a young woman who has no memory of her life before her alleged suicide attempt. The show is about how she tries to piece together what happened only to realize she can trust no one, not even her closest friends and family as she discovers secrets, lies, and the unspeakable truth locked deep in her memory.

The last episode of the series is titled ‘The Fall’, where Divya further confronts Maya about that unfortunate night after Rohit tells her to talk to Maya, in a drunken state. She then confronts Maya and learns shocking truths about her accident. She gets to know that on the night of the accident, Maya came to her room with the money collected from the sports centre for the day.
Some amount is taken out from it and they start arguing over taking the money without asking. Maya gets furious at stealing accusations and confronts Divya about buying an apartment out of the city, that too under Jeeva’s name. She accuses Divya of having an affair with him and considering his young age, it should be counted as a pedophilic act.
On hearing such accusations, Divya could not stay in the same room and goes towards the balcony but the argument carries on over there. In a rage, Divya slaps Maya for saying such outrageous things about her and it leads to Maya pushing her in anger. But the force is too strong that Divya ends ups falling down the balcony. Scared of what had happened, Maya could only think of Rohit and called him up for help, who calms her down and takes Divya to the hospital.
Present-day Divya is unable to believe Maya and refuses to admit that she even had an affair with Jeeva. She tries to remember her past and goes out to meet Daniel. She asks him if he knew anything about her affair outside of their relationship but he claims to know nothing and both of them kiss while remembering the old days. During that moment, something strikes her mind.
Simultaneously Lakshmi forces Jeeva to leave the country when she sees them spending more & more time together. Also, to stop Divya from finding the final missing piece in the puzzle. Police investigation points to Rohit as he had also lied about his whereabouts on the day of the accident and had conspired with Krithika to buy the sports centre. Thus they arrest him.
But when Maya confesses everything to her father, he exposes it all to the Police and they come home to find her. Divya also reaches at the same time and on seeing Maya getting arrested, she fakes that she actually fell by accident while trying to catch her phone. It makes the police close the case and leave.
But the real revelation remains, as Divya asks her mother about Jeeva. She reveals that she remembers everything and has to talk to him. Maya tells her that he is leaving tonight for London, thus, she rushes to the airport. After much struggle, both of them meet and Divya says that she remembers everything and that Jeeva is her son.
In the flashback, we see that Divya was actually pregnant at 16 and gave birth to Jeeva. They had given him away and was kept a secret between Divya and her mother. Now everything is out in the open and Jeeva happily goes back with her mother. Lastly, Daniel visits Krithika and makes her confess everything from mixing Divya’s medicine etc but he is actually wearing a mic and everything is recorded by the police. They arrest her for the crimes she confessed.
