Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest Episode 7 Recap
The episode begins on a calm note, showing the aftermath of the fierce battle between Mercphobia and Natsu’s team. While things seem peaceful, Natsu is still troubled by how the fight unfolded. He regrets losing control and has no clear memory of what happened after consuming Ignia’s flames. Deeply apologetic, he expresses his gratitude to Lucy, the only one capable of stopping his destructive rampage.
The people of Guiltina struggle to process that they were once human before being transformed into fish by Mercphobia’s powers. They also mourn the loss of their revered water dragon God, for whom they held immense faith and respect. However, in an unexpected twist, it’s revealed that Mercphobia isn’t dead. Instead, he has been turned back into a human, allowing him to live peacefully among those he loves without being hunted for his powers.

We also get a glimpse of the Guild Master of Diabolos in this episode, who exudes a more menacing presence than any of the other members we’ve encountered so far. His ruthless demeanor hints at more challenges to come. Meanwhile, Touka, who has already defeated the members of Fairy Tail, is now on a relentless pursuit to find and take down Natsu and the others.
In addition, we learn about the existence of four other dragons, each said to be far stronger than Mercphobia. Though Mercphobia shares some knowledge about them, the information is limited. The only clue he has is the whereabouts of the wood dragon God, who is also the largest dragon in existence.
