Wistoria: Wand and Sword Episode 6 Recap
The episode kicks off with the intense showdown between Will and Sion, and things aren’t looking good for our protagonist. Flashbacks offer a glimpse into their past, showing that Sion once had a very different attitude toward Will. He wasn’t always this aggressive or determined to eliminate him. In fact, Sion used to dislike seeing others mock Will and initially wanted him to join his faction to avoid being targeted. However, Will rejected this fate, and Sion’s animosity grew.
Part of this tension stems from Will’s single-minded obsession with climbing the tower to be with Elfaria. He never cared much about anyone else in the institution, which only fueled Sion’s frustration.

In the present, during the tournament, Will is struggling against Sion’s overwhelming magic. Meanwhile, Colette is having her own difficulties keeping Julius at bay. The spectators, who had come to scout for new talent, are left unimpressed by the brutal display, but one thing is undeniable: Sion’s mastery of fire magic far surpasses that of a typical student.
The battle reaches a dramatic climax when Sion finally reveals his true feelings. He confesses how hurt he’s been by Will’s constant indifference, having been ignored for so long. It becomes clear that Will, believing no one would ever accept him, isolated himself and focused solely on his goal.
The outcome of the fight is both surprising and thrilling as Collette manages to stop any direct fight between them. Despite lacking magic, Will refuses to be defeated easily. His resilience and determination shine through, proving that he won’t back down, no matter the odds.
