Bless the Harts Episode 1 Review:

For years now, FOX has been bringing new animated shows for its viewers. While a lot of them don’t move beyond season 1, Bless The Harts was renewed for a new season, keeping in view the audience response.

Loosely inspired by Spivey’s own childhood growing up in North Carolina, Bless The Harts Episode 1 revolves around the Hart family as Jenny Hart (Kristen Wiig) and Betty Hart (Maya Rudolph) try to adjust to their daughter and granddaughter respectively, Violet (Jillian Bell), reaching her teenage and behaving differently – wanting her own space, lying, etc and them following her anywhere and everywhere to keep an eye on her. What if she gets dragged into a cult?

(Season 2)Disney's Bless the Harts Episode 1 Review: Violet Hits Teenage and the Harts are Paranoid

Bless the Harts episode 01 doesn’t form a solid foundation for the upcoming episodes but rather depicts various fluid ideas like Violet’s teenage, Bobbie-Nell (Fortune Feimster), Jenny’s neighbour’s, rant and mellowing down and more, which can be built on in the future episodes. Wayne Edwards (Ike Barinholtz), Jenny’s boyfriend, brings comic relief in the series. Wayne comes off as a smart man who really cares about Jenny and her family.

Built around the southern lifestyle, the episodes depict mundane and everyday issues like a broken roof, nosy neighbour, parents’ paranoia about their teen child, etc. The series takes everything together, puts it in a bag and shows it perfectly with the help of animation. Bless The Harts episode 1 works as a relief from the everyday hustle-bustle, work from home, and violence driven shows.
