As Camille’s new fashion show’s preparation begins, Hong-do will work arduously on the designs to make the event a grand success. Since Camille wants the fashion show to be held in Seongsan village, her pressure will make the Culture and Heritage admin try his best to convince the ruler of the village. His offer will be declined regardless as the primary goal of the village is to maintain the Joseon-era culture and not get exposed to the modern world.

On the other side, Yoon-bok and Hong-do will have a city tour and in exchange he will take her to Seongsan village. Her presence will be the talk of the town, as the Young Master Yoon-bok has come with a woman. Over there, Hong-do will face some issues due to her sudden exposure towards the village that holds the Joseon Era aura.

Dare to Love Me Episode 3 Recap

In this episode, Yoon-bok walks Hong-do home in the rain. Despite Hong-do insisting they share the umbrella to avoid catching a cold, Yoon-bok maintains his distance, believing a student should not be too close to his teacher. Back at home, Hong-do reminisces about Yoon-bok’s care and starts to wonder if he’s been handsome all along. Meanwhile, Yoon-bok goes to sleep, shivering.

The next day, Hong-do decides to leak a CCTV video showing Hyang-gi receiving a bag from her ex-boyfriend, proving that Hyang-gi stole an idea. The video shocks everyone, and out of shame, Hyang-gi decides to quit. Hong-do confronts her boss, furious that he ignored her concerns, and announces she’s quitting too. Just then, the founder of the famous brand Camille walks into the office, offering Hong-do a job. Excited to work at her dream company, Hong-do accepts and decides to dedicate herself to blending culture and modernity for Camille’s upcoming fashion show.

While taking photos in the market for inspiration, Hong-do receives a call from her brother about Yoon-bok’s illness. Yoon-bok and her brother are best friends from high school. Hong-do buys scallops and abalones, cooks a meal for Yoon-bok, and visits him. Yoon-bok tries to downplay his illness, but Hong-do insists he eats and rests. Before leaving, she notices a picture of a Korean accessory in his place, which triggers a memory.

Back at work, Hong-do faces multiple rejections from Camille, leaving her frustrated and clueless. Meanwhile, Yoon-bok and his bodyguard are on a mission to find the criminal who stole national treasures, including his father’s woorim (a Korean traditional keychain). Remembering the woorim, Hong-do checks her old photos and finds one from her childhood with Yoon-bok’s father and his woorim. Inspired, she designs new ideas based on the woorim and finally wins Camille’s approval.

Camille discusses with the culture and heritage administrator about holding the fashion show in Seongsan village. However, the administrator mentions difficulties due to the current ruler’s opposition. Jun-ho, overhearing this, takes note.

That night, Hong-do cooks dinner for Yoon-bok but finds he hasn’t returned home. Earlier, a call from a woman had upset him. When Yoon-bok finally arrives, he asks Hong-do to drink with him. With their backs facing each other, Yoon-bok vents about someone who left him during a crucial moment in his life. Unaware of who he is referring to, Hong-do provides him with comforting support. Yoon-bok gets heavily drunk, and Hong-do manages to get him to sit on a bench. As she goes to buy hangover medicine, Yoon-bok asks her to promise to return by the time he counts to 100. She promises and leaves.
