Cocaine Air: Smugglers at 30000 Ft Review

Cocaine Air: Smugglers at 30000 Ft is a chaotic and entertaining documentary series that will keep you hooked to your screens. If true crime is your thing, then don’t be fooled, Cocaine Air is the perfect watch to quench your documentary thirst this week! The series is only 3 episodes long and packed with facts, figures and a twisted investigation that seems to be endlessly crooked.

There’s one thing after another that continues to come out every passing minute of the documentary, and you will be left thoroughly engaged throughout the runtime. The documentary is light and airy and adds humour to its showcase of the facts of the case. From smuggling 70kgs of cocaine to a wild escape from the Dominican Republic to one of the men who helped the pilots get arrested and extradited to the Dominican Republic – there’s a lot of drama in the story, and the documentary showcases it exactly in that way.

The series is fast-paced and engaging, and is able to keep up with the insanity of the story too well. I found myself thoroughly amused as I saw one crazy thing after another unfold on screen. The cast of characters in the story is all absolutely amusing in one way or another, and the chaos is unlike anything that you might have seen in other documentaries.

Unlike true crime, where there is a sombre and rather sad vibe, Cocaine Air documentary doesn’t have anyone dying, and the series doesn’t really get grim at any point. Thus, its amusing nature is one of its charms and will leave you thoroughly entertained. I think it also did a great job of defining every character, their motives and their involvement in the case, painting a clear and precise picture to leave viewers engaged while also learning about it. Plus, it really pulls off all the stops when it comes to getting to the bottom of things, and you have to see it to truly get it!

Cocaine Air: Smugglers at 30000 Ft is thoroughly entertaining and will leave viewers shocked and thoroughly amused. It’s told well and is entertaining, but of course, considering the details of the case, any documentary would probably have been a whirlwind in one way or another!
