Castaway Diva Overview
Castaway Diva (무인도의 디바) is a Korean rom-com that tells the story of a woman stranded on an island for 15 years and how she comes back into society and tries to pursue her dream to be an idol. Directed by Oh Choong-hwan, the drama stars Park Eun-bin, Kim Hyo-jin, Chae Jong-hyeop, Cha Hak-yeon, Kim Joo-heon, and Lee Re, alongside other cast members.
The Kdrama tells the story of Seo Mok-ha who dreams of becoming a singer, however, an incident leaves her stranded on a deserted island where she survives for 15 years. Now, she is finally rescued, but times have changed and circumstances make achieving her dream challenging. Will she be able to become a singer and get her stage?
Castaway Diva takes over tvN’s Saturday-Sunday 9:20 PM KST timeslot previously held by Arthdal Chronicles season 2.

Castaway Diva Episode 9 Prediction
Mok-ha is ready to gain back Ran-joo’s trust while Woo-hak looks for clues that can confirm Bong-wan’s hand in Dae-woong’s accident. Meanwhile, a beaten-up Bo-geol sits alone in pain while Ran-joo has a secret that cannot be revealed to Seo-hun. Soon, a new beginning arrives for Mok-ha and it looks like her idol is here with her on this new journey.
Castaway Diva Episode 8 Recap
Woo-hak finds out about Bo-geol’s life after he was in the hospital, his struggles and his regrets when he lost her to the sea. The two then reach their destination and soon find Mok-ha who tells them to return as she will live in seclusion so that they are safe. Hearing this, Woo-hak changes his mind and tells her to return with them and be selfish.
Bo-geol also tells her to become so famous and rich that she can save them from Bong-wan. Later, Woo-hak plans to go camping with their parents and fulfil Bo-geol’s long-lost wish. There he sees the feelings bubbling around the two and confronts them about the same, resulting in Mok-ha denying the same while Bo-geol accepts the truth.
Upon returning home, Mok-ha finds Ran-joo missing due to her impulsive actions while Bo-geol is surrounded by the nightmare of his father. The next day, Mok-ha makes her way to find her idol while Bo-geol leaves for Chunsam Island to distract his father. Mok-ha is unable to find Ran-joo, but finds out that she is close to her 20 million album sales goal while agencies are looking for Mok-ha.
Meanwhile, Ran-joo is accompanying her mother and finds out that news about her is what is affecting her mother as she thinks of herself as Yoon Ran-joo. Elsewhere, Mok-ha arrives at RJ Entertainment where Seo-jun presents her with an offer which she rejects as her main goal is to help Ran-joo achieve her success.
Elsewhere, Bo-geol’s plans fail when Bong-wan passes on the message that his lies have been caught. Left with no other way, Bo-geol looks for ways to face his father with the help of the law. The next day, an old recording of Mok-ha and Ran-joo’s first conversation is played which makes Mok-ha calls Ran-joo through Woo-hak’s phone, however, her mother picks up the call.
She then leaves to meet Mok-ha, who is “her” fan and leaves Mok-ha speechless. Right then Ran-joo calls her mother and Mok-ha picks up the phone to tell her what has happened. Ran-joo arrives and is relieved to find her mother safe after which she faces Mok-ha. She tells her about her lost trust in her after the way she ran away and calls Seo-jun to prepare the cancellation of her contract.
Meanwhile, Bo-geol comes face to face with his father.
