Alchemy of Souls Overview
Alchemy of Souls (Return/환혼) is a 2022 Korean historical drama series directed by Park Joon-hwa and starring Lee Jae-wook, Jung So-min, Hwang Min-hyun, Shin Seung-ho, Yoo Jun-sang, Oh Na-ra and Jo Jae-yoon, alongside other cast members.
The series revolves around Jang Wook and Mu-deok, residents of the fictional country of Daeho, whose shortcomings get eradicated when they invariably come into each other’s lives. Deok-yi, an elite warrior trapped in a weak body, becomes Jang Wook’s servant and secret teacher and helps him become better than the rumours that follow him. Will they be able to help each other get what they want out of life?
Alchemy of Souls takes over tvN’s Saturday-Sunday 9 PM KST timeslot previously occupied by Our Blues.

Netflix’s official synopsis reads: “A powerful sorceress in a blind woman’s body encounters a man from a prestigious family, who wants her help to change his destiny.”

The series will stream from June 18, 2022, to August 21, 2022. Episode 15 of the series will stream on August 6 at 9 PM KST (7.30 PM IST).

Murders are taking place around Mu-deok and Park Jin wants to find out her truth. Looking at the impending danger, he wishes for the return of Jang Kang. But who is this mysterious man roaming around in Daeho?
Alchemy of Souls Episode 14 Recap
Episode 14 brought the duel between Seo Yul and Jang Uk with the former winning the duel and Mu-deok who had bet herself. Jang Uk reaches Chisu which surprises everyone but rumours of him practising chastity are being spread. Elsewhere, Park Jin gets to know that master Lee is interested in Kim Do-ju which makes him worry.
Later, looking at Jang Uk and Heo Yoon-ok together Mu-deok gets jealous, which is resolved when Jang Uk kisses her. He then accompanies master Lee into the palace along with Seo Yul and Park Dong-gu. In Songrim, Park Jin calls for the broker who sold Mu-deok to Chwiseonru but the broker lies about her blindness.
In the palace, master Lee reveals he is a soul shifter who can recognise other soul shifters which shocks everyone. On the other hand, Mu-deok goes to meet the broker only to find him dead followed by Park Jin accusing her of his death.
Alchemy of Souls is now streaming on Netflix.
