Alchemy of Souls Overview

Alchemy of Souls (Return/환혼) is a 2022 Korean historical drama series directed by Park Joon-hwa and starring Lee Jae-wook, Jung So-min, Hwang Min-hyun, Shin Seung-ho, Yoo Jun-sang, Oh Na-ra and Jo Jae-yoon, alongside other cast members.

The series revolves around Jang Wook and Mu-deok, residents of the fictional country of Daeho, whose shortcomings get eradicated when they invariably come into each other’s lives. Deok-yi, an elite warrior trapped in a weak body, becomes Jang Wook’s servant and secret teacher and helps him become better than the rumours that follow him. Will they be able to help each other get what they want out of life?

Alchemy of Souls takes over tvN’s Saturday-Sunday 9 PM KST timeslot previously occupied by Our Blues.

Alchemy of Souls Plot

Netflix’s official synopsis reads: “A powerful sorceress in a blind woman’s body encounters a man from a prestigious family, who wants her help to change his destiny.”

Alchemy of Souls Cast

The drama fantasy series stars Lee Jae-wook, Jung So-min, Hwang Min-hyun, Shin Seung-ho, Yoo Jun-sang, Oh Na-ra and Jo Jae-yoon, alongside other cast members and is created by Park Joon-hwa, Hong Jung-eun and Hong Mi-ran.

Alchemy of Souls Episode 13 India Release Date and Time

The series will stream from June 18, 2022, to August 21, 2022. Episode 13 of the series will stream on July 30 at 9 PM KST (7.30 PM IST).

Alchemy of Souls Episode 13 Predictions

Jang Uk and Mu-deok manage to escape Cheonbugwan but even greater troubles await them. The crown prince now wants Mu-deok to be the object of the bet while it is Jang Uk’s last chance to duel. Seo Yul regrets leaving Naksu in the mountains during their childhood while finding out Jang Uk’s need to get the ice stone and the reason behind it. However, Park Jin knows something about Mu-deok which alerts her.

Alchemy of Souls Episode 12 Recap

Episode 12 has Jang Uk and the crown prince sharing a lovely moment when the yin-and-yang jades get the two together. While Park Jin is suspicious of a soul shifter and wants to capture him only for the soul shifter to be killed by Jin Mu. Later, he discusses the assassin Naksu with master Lee and thinks about how pitiful she must have been to be used by Jin Mu. Jang Uk overhears this conversation and goes to Mu-deok.

Elsewhere, Seo Yul has slashed a soul shifter and sees the image of Mu-deok if the same happens to her. He discusses this with Jang Uk who only tells him that he will follow what his heart says when dealing with them. Later, Jang Uk and Mu-deok make their way to Cheonbugwan to complete an errand but enter the place. However, this leads to them coming across a soul shifter. Jin Mu then traps Jang Uk in a barrier while tell the soul shifter to feed on Mu-deok’s energy.

Jang Uk builds up his courage and breaks free from the barrier only to witness Mu-deok absorbing the energy from the soul shifter. This scares her as she thinks that she too is running wild. Jang Uk takes her into his arms and tries to calm her down.

Alchemy of Souls is now streaming on Netflix.
