Meanwhile, Young-bok confronts a life-altering realization as she confirms her pregnancy. Worried about the financial strain of raising another child, she tells her husband she intends to have an abortion. The news leaves him crestfallen and feeling inadequate, fearing the challenges she will face and feeling powerless to prevent them. His despair deepens as he struggles to find ways to support their family, burdened by the knowledge that his past mistakes limit his opportunities.

They offer free tickets to an adult movie as a quirky incentive for buyers, and the scheme pays off. The sales event is a success, with numerous products sold and a much-needed profit secured. During the event, Jeong-suk notices one of the town’s women with striking features similar to Do-hyeon’s. Eagerly, she informs him, but Do-hyeon dispels her hope, explaining that he has already ruled out this woman as a potential lead after uncovering more about her past.
