That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 Episode 19 Recap

The festival is finally upon us, and significant guests are arriving one by one. Rimuru is hosting a grand and opulent banquet to welcome everyone and ensure the festivities get off to a smooth start. Among the notable attendees are King Gazel of Dwargon, Yeom, the hero king of Farmenas, accompanied by his wife, and the King and Queen of Blumund, along with other prominent dignitaries.
As the banquet unfolds, an array of mouthwatering dishes is presented to the guests. However, the most surprising moment comes with the introduction of sashimi—a dish made from raw fish. This delicacy is entirely new to the world of Tensura, and the unfamiliarity initially causes hesitation among the guests. But after Rimuru, followed by Hinata and Yuuki, begin enjoying this food from their homeland, curiosity spreads, and sashimi quickly becomes a crowd favourite.

The real highlight, though, is the arrival of some very distinguished guests. The atmosphere shifts when Emperor Elmesia of Thalion herself makes an entrance, accompanied by her guardian dragon. Her imposing presence commands the room, and she even requests a private meeting with Rimuru later on. Following her arrival, the demon lords, including Milim, make their appearance, officially kicking off the celebration.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 Episode 20 Review and Recap

The episode opens with the students of Rimuru confronting their teacher about him being the ruler of Tempest. Not just that, but Tis, who also accompanied them as their guardian, fell ill because of that shock. Now, who will look after the kids, as Rimuru is too busy for that? Then comes the very reliable Hinata, who also has a connection to the kids by being a past student of Shizu. Thus, she takes on the role, and the kids instantly love her as well.
Hence, now that all the duties are over, Rimuru can finally see how things are running in his festival. The first major attraction of the day is a huge musical performance by a mixture of humans and monsters of Tempest. They put forward a very good arrangement, but what shocked everyone was the duet presented by Shion and Shuna. They mesmerize all with their music and gain immense praise.

The science display started off a bit boring with very detailed explanations by Vesta, but when they switched to a practical display, everyone got interested. Their research on Magicules and Hipokute herb comes forward as groundbreaking, with many considering it as one of the most advanced discoveries ever. These kinds of advanced features made many interested in keeping a lasting tie with Tempest, especially Luminous.
She professed to send people who were interested in music and science from her country to Tempest to learn things. In return, she would give Rimuru a cheat skill called “the secret skills of faith and favour”. Rimuru agrees, but here, we also get to know that Rimuru has invited some unsavoury people. Luminous warns Rimuru about them, and it seems Rimuru is aware of them.

Verdict
Despite facing some challenges and setbacks, Rimuru is ready to have as much fun as possible at this festival. I am especially interested in the next segment, which is the Tempest Battle Tournament. Here, I expect to see some good battles and fight sequences. Other than that, today’s episode delivers good entertainment.
