The series is based on the life of an awkward high-schooler who just might be the strongest psychic in this world. As strong as he is with his psychic abilities, there are many things in his life that he is unable to control, the most important of them being his awkwardness and unpopularity in his school. Along with his boss and his mentor, prolific bullshitter Reigen Arataka, he learns how to fight his battles or even when to run away when in danger.
Season 3 of the highly popular series follows Mob, Reigen, and Serizawa continuing to run Reigen’s business of hunting down spirits while dealing with issues of their own. Mob is on a mission to figure out what to do with his life and future, while Serizawa wishes to get a standardized school education that he never received. Reigen is, well, Reigen is Reigen, with everything that entails.

Ritsu tried his hardest to stop the rampage from his brother, but he could only save the world from Mob and not Mob himself. That part lies on Mob and maybe on the person coming to face him next and currently the only one with a chance of talking Mob down. After all, he is an expert in talk-no-Jutsu and bullshitting his way out of things. Of course, we are talking about Reigen Arataka. This issue might just be a little more serious than the ones he is used to handling, however.

Since we are now approaching the show’s final episode, and as such, no new characters will reasonably be involved with any of the events of these episodes. Instead, the show will look towards rounding up the story and giving each of the previously established characters their moment before the show rides off into the sunset. This time, it is finally Reigen and Serizawa’s turn to try and save Mob from himself. However, the biggest mystery is if Mob or Shigeo comes out on top in Mob’s internal battle.
