Vueko Arumyui Made In Abyss Season 2 Episode 7

Is there a support group for people who have been permanently mentally scarred for having watched the masterpiece that is this show? That sounds like more and more of a fantastic idea as this season progresses, as we witness horrors beyond our expectations and comprehension after all that we have seen from the show. This is the show that gave us Mitty, Prushka, Riko’s arm, Bondrewd, and every other messed-up thing that you can remember. What we just witnessed was on par with the worst thing that has ever happened in the show, in a good way.

There is a good chance that if you sought out this review right after you watched the episode, you are still shaken by what happened. The sheer cruelty is too much for anyone to bear, and it is natural that you wanted to share that feeling with someone. Recommending this show to people is going to be an ever harder sell now, as you’re going to feel more like a bad guy for subjecting them to this devastation. However, as all fans know, it is worth it. It is always worth it to go through some pain to experience one of the best shows of our generation.

Ganja Made In Abyss Season 2 Episode 7

This was it. This was the episode when we finally went into what happened to “Ganja”, the group that sought out the golden city and found out much more than they bargained for. It was never going to be pretty, as it was a miracle that they even got up to the sixth layer without knowing any of the Abyss’s secrets beforehand, but this is where their journey stopped. The curse of the Abyss made sure that they could never return from the golden city, and it was up to them to found the new society that we see our regular trio get to this season.

The Abyss is the show’s main attraction for many, including this writer. Watching the new wonders that the writer managed to put in without elaborating much about them, leaving us and the characters to their own devices and common sense to figure out what to do, is a pleasure like no other. This episode had a lot of that, as having the floor guardians around and no way to go back meant they were stuck exploring the layer and making a home out of it, which was delightful to watch.

Vueko and Arumyuui’s bond was elaborated upon in much greater detail, as Made In Abyss made us fall in love with both well-written characters. However, you just knew the tragedy was about to strike at any time, and the more of the trauma that we delved into, the more it hurt to see what went down at the end. Alongside the fantastic soundtrack and the beautiful new Abyss to take in, this episode sure was a wild ride that would surely go down as the series’ very best. Cherish the time that the series has left, for shows like this don’t come around too often.

Verdict

Made In Abyss Season 2 Episode 7 was a masterpiece through and through. The storytelling, character development, and atmosphere were among the best we have seen in a long time. This show continues to prove how far ahead it is over every other series that is currently airing.
