Made In Abyss Season 2 Episode 6 Overview

Made In Abyss Season 2 Episode 6

The best anime of 2017 and one of the greatest shows of this generation, Made in Abyss, makes a return to our screens with Made In Abyss Season 2, titled Made in Abyss Golden City of the Scorching Sun. The series is once again being helmed by veteran director Masayuki Kojima who also directed the previous seasons alongside other classic anime such as Monster and Black Bullet. The season is also referred to as Made in Abyss Retsujitsu no Ougonkyou in original Japanese.

The season is also being animated by Studio Kinema Citrus, which was behind the first season of the show alongside other shows like The Rising Of The Shield Hero. The series is based upon a manga written by Akihito Tsukushi. This episode is also known as Made in Abyss Retsujitsu no Ougonkyou Episode 6 and Made in Abyss Golden Sun Episode 6. Made In Abyss Season 2 Episode 6 Review- Reg Wakes

Riko Majikaja Made In Abyss Season 2 Episode 6

Getting to watch Made In Abyss: Dawn Of The Deep Soul was one of the best anime movie experiences that I’ve ever had. Not only was it the perfect escalation of everything that had happened in the anime up to that point, but it was also an extremely well-made movie with everything that the series had to offer and then some, alongside a very tight story. The best thing about it was that it was canon, as everything that happened here was necessary to the plot, and you would miss a lot if you happened to skip it. We have seen Prushka with Riko, Reg, and Nanachi since the season began, and she has been massively important to the plot so far. Her getting stolen was the reason the trio ventured into this weird universe in the first place, and getting her back was the sole motivation before everything collapsed around them and they separated. However, all of that fades next to the impact she made here and the implications on the rest of the series. It is needless to say, but it is something that must be put out there- Made In Abyss Season 2 Episode 6 was a tremendous episode of television.

Fight Made In Abyss Season 2 Episode 6

Without spoiling anything, the situation with Nanachi and Riko is far from solved, but this episode had entirely different priorities. The village was under attack, and even though she had barely gotten away without losing any of her parts herself, it was up to Riko to do something about it, alongside Vueka, Majikaja, and Maa. She is extremely useful in certain situations and has an uncanny understanding of how the Abyss works despite (obviously) never having been this deep and proves her worth time and time again in situations such as this. Seeing her go deep in her arsenal to pull out one last trick was great.

There was also the issue of the trio all being apart, which wasn’t helped at all with Nanachi getting enamoured with Mitty again and going down for the foreseeable future. However, Reg is still out there, trying to solve the mystery of his origins and avoiding Faputa like she’s a plague, for some reason. We seem to be heading towards a resolution to that, thankfully putting an end to the season’s weirdest decision. However, the story of “ganja” and the golden city is still far from over, as new secrets are revealed at the end of each episode.

Mitty returning was undoubtedly a huge secret of the kind mentioned above, and even though she isn’t the same Mitty that Nanachi once said goodbye to, her trauma and wanting to stay close to her makes complete sense when you consider that she never really moved on from Mitty’s sacrifice or her own. It was one of the most devastating moments in all of anime, not just this show, and if the audience hasn’t been able to move forward from it, Nanachi should also be excused. Overall, the direction that the show is headed breeds a lot of intrigue of the “who’s the bad guy” kind, which is great.

Verdict

Made In Abyss Season 2 Episode 6 was another tremendous episode that featured some great action and storytelling, alongside building many characters up for a later meltdown. The series is on the run of a lifetime, and it seems to be getting better.
