Alchemy of Souls Overview
Alchemy of Souls (Return/환혼) is a 2022 Korean historical drama series directed by Park Joon-hwa and starring Lee Jae-wook, Jung So-min, Hwang Min-hyun, Shin Seung-ho, Yoo Jun-sang, Oh Na-ra and Jo Jae-yoon, alongside other cast members.
The series revolves around Jang Wook and Mu-deok, residents of the fictional country of Daeho, whose shortcomings get eradicated when they invariably come into each other’s lives. Deok-yi, an elite warrior trapped in a weak body, becomes Jang Wook’s servant and secret teacher and helps him become better than the rumours that follow him. Will they be able to help each other get what they want out of life?
Alchemy of Souls takes over tvN’s Saturday-Sunday 9 PM KST timeslot previously occupied by Our Blues.

Netflix’s official synopsis reads: “A powerful sorceress in a blind woman’s body encounters a man from a prestigious family, who wants her help to change his destiny.”

The series will stream from June 18, 2022, to August 21, 2022. Episode 8 of the series will stream on July 10 at 9 PM KST (7.30 PM IST).

Alchemy of Souls Episode 7 Recap
Alchemy of Souls episode 7 brings the cruel history of Daeho and an ice stone which became the reason for its war. Jang Uk finds out that Mu-deok is trapped in the Mirror of Longing but a twist of events helps her escape the mirror world. Seo Yul is able to make the connection between Mu-deok and Naksu while she finds herself in trouble due to Kil Joo. The only way to escape is by sacrificing Jang Uk, but she is unable to do it. Soon, Jang Uk and Kil Joo fight but the latter activates the alchemy of souls and traps Jang Uk.
